6 Installing Store Procedures Update
Because of a security enhancement in the upcoming CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz 7.5 version, the weekly APOR Update utility will be modified to use a new stored procedure for connecting to and updating data in the CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz databases. The new version of the APOR Update utility will be released along with the CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz 7.5 update. However, we understand that most institutions will take some time to install the 7.5 update in their production environments once it is released. The Stored Procedure Script adds the new stored procedure to your current version of CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz to ensure that it continues to work with the new, modified APOR Update utility until your institution completes the upgrade to CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz 7.5. Important! The following procedures assume that you have the SQL Server Management Studio application already open from the previous script installation.
To install the Stored Procedure Script, follow these steps:
1. Do one of the following: --Double-click the APOR_StoredProc_Update.sql file:
Note: For instructions on how to download the file, refer to the Downloading and Extracting 2020 Submission Update section. If SMSS is already running, the software displays the SQL script in a new tab. If SMSS is not running, Windows launches SMSS and displays the SQL script in a new tab.
OR --In SSMS, from the File menu at the top left, select Open > File…:

2. Use the dialog box controls to navigate to and select the APOR_StoredProc_Update.sql file:

8 2020 CRA Submission Encryption Utility
When you submit your CRA file via the Internet, it must be encrypted using the latest FFIEC encryption utility. The encryption utility is normally updated and embedded into the CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz application each year. Because of the delay in the CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz 7.5 release, the 2020 encryption utility may not be installed in your production environment prior to the annual submission deadline. You can download and install the latest software from the FFIEC’s website: 2020 CRA ENCRYPTION UTILITY
Once the software is installed, you will see a new application in your Windows Start menu named Encryption Utility. To prepare your 2020 CRA Submission file, perform the following steps:
1. Create your CRA Submission file in CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz as normal. Important! Do not use the encryption utility that launches from within CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz. Close the encryption utility window that launches after the file is created.
2. Open the encryption utility from your Windows Start menu. 3. In the encryption utility, click the Browse button:
The software displays an Open File dialog box.
4. Use the dialog box controls to navigate to and select your 2020 CRA Submission file (as created in Step 1)
5. Click the Begin Process button. The utility creates the encrypted submission file that you can submit electronically.
