Setouchi City known for its mild weather grows the largest harvest of Chinese tea leaves, cabbage, winter melon and spaghetti squash in Okayama, and the largest harvest of mushrooms in Japan. Clay kneading and painting can be experienced and original pottery can be made in the Sabukaze Togeikaikan (pottery museum) and potter’s gallery in Sabukaze which has been known as a pottery village since ancient times.
