Program Manager, ARES Corporation, 2010 to present Consistent, successful delivery of a variety of concurrent projects ranging from small-‐scale building infrastructures to a two-‐year, $12M data center. Implemented related IT systems including HP servers, Juniper switches and routers, McAfee Firewalls and Intrusion Detection Systems, CA Gigastor packet analyzers, RedHat, Microsoft server 2008, HP and CA Systems Management applications and VMware. Interacted directly with customers to refine project scope, assess status and assist in making decisions regarding project financials. Clients include Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. Lead team of 10 Project Managers and work with the Project Management Office to ensure project plans are realistic and executable. Responsible for managing cross-‐functional team members from initiation through closeout and customer acceptance. Use Earned Value Methods to coordinate project status for both internal and external stakeholders. Develop time-‐phased resource loaded schedules using Microsoft Project. Over the past 12 months, this collaboration and detailed schedule development improved our average delivery performance by nearly 25%. Risk Manager and Project Controls Engineer, ARES Corporation, 2008–2010 Allocated resources, maintained schedule and budget performance using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 tools. Collaborated with project managers and senior management to create, monitor and manage over 75 unique risks. Our risk management process presented senior leaders with concise information enabling informed decisions to address personnel assignment, budget priorities and timing of system upgrades. This resulted in our customers providing additional funding to mitigate the risks identified. Clients included US Department of Energy, CH2MHill, Johnson Controls, and Areva. Captain, United States Marine Corps, 2003–2008 Led 15-‐40 Marines in a variety of engagements as a Combat Engineering Officer. Completed multiple training courses in leadership and qualified on multiple combat systems. Responsible for $2M in new IED (hostile explosives) route clearance equipment during deployment to Iraq. Trained Marines to complete multiple missions including roadway and runway repair, construction, demolition and explosives handling.
