Project Description: SSSM is a Ministry of Government Services (MGS) in Ontario, Canada initiative aimed to remediate underlying technology and update applications that are used to deliver social assistance. About 800,000 people rely on the current Service Delivery Model Technology (SDMT)'s capacity to maintain their personal information in a secure fashion, accurately assess their eligibility for income support and issue correct amounts of assistance in a timely manner.It was started to build a foundation to support the evolution of client-centered human services delivery in Ontario. It aimed at replacing earlier old legacy system: Service Delivery Model Technology (SDMT) which administers Ontario social assistance programs including Ontario Works, Ontario Disability and Support Program (ODSP), and Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD).
Responsibility: Extensively worked with Informatica – Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Transformation developer, Mapplet
Designer, Mapping Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor to develop various complex mappings, mapplets, reusable transformations, session tasks and Workflows.
Extensively participated in functional and technical meetings for designing the architecture of ETL load process (mappings, sessions, workflows from source systems to staging to DW).

Performed extraction, transformation and loading of data from different sources like Flat Files, DB2 and XML in accordance with requirements and specifications.
Created Parameter files, defined mapping and Maplet parameters in the parameter file. Developed mapping document indicating the source tables, columns, data types, transformation required,
business rules, target tables, columns and data types. Created Several Informatica Mappings to populate the data into dimensions and fact tables. Developed complex mappings in Informatica to load the data from various sources using different
transformations like Source Qualifier, lookup (connected and unconnected), Expression, Aggregate, Update Strategy, Sequence Generator, Joiner, Filter, Update Strategy Rank and Router transformations.
Worked on performance tuning of the complex transformations, mappings, sessions and SQL queries to achieve faster data loads to the data warehouse.
Created session tasks, event waits & raise, command task, worklets etc in the workflow manager and deployed them across the DEV, QA, UAT and PROD repositories.
Understanding and implementing the Curam structure and background database. Created unit test plan master document with appropriate test cases and test results for ETL Code. Delivery estimation for the upcoming RFC and new development interfaces. Migrated the code into QA (Testing) and supported QA team and UAT (User). Worked on complex Source Qualifier queries for extraction from oracle table sources, Pre-and Post SQL queries in
the Target. Extensively worked with Informatica performance tuning involving source level, target level and map level
bottlenecks. Conducted code reviews developed by my team mates before moving the code into QA. Modified existing mappings for enhancements of new business requirements. Created Run Book document for Production Support. Developed reusable Mapplets and Transformations. Prepared migration document to move the mappings from development to testing and then to production
repositories. For example, technical design document, run books, promotional document etc. Handling production issue and defects occurred during go live.

Project Description: The Business Intelligence project is being implemented at VTL with a vision of enabling easy access to cross-functional data for effective business decision making. Based on an IBM DB2 data warehouse, the solution will enable business users to self-service their information requirements. The implementation will integrate data from Mediation, IN and E-TOPUP systems.
Responsibility: Designing the data model for different segments of business. Working as Datastage job developer aiming at designing various ETL jobs related to VTL Sales and Marketing
requirement. Created Sequencers with Error Handling, Restarting the Jobs and Trigger Email. Understanding source system and architecture model and integration among different systems. Working on Job performance improvement. Managing data loading and working with operation team. Transforming raw data into information required by reporting team for generating cube reports. Project Description: Loblaw Companies Limited is the largest food retailer in Canada, with over 1,000 corporate and franchise supermarkets and with 14 million weekly shoppers.The President’s Choice Financial MasterCard credit card services are provided by President's Choice Bank which is wholly owned subsidiaries of Loblaw Companies.This project aims at providing SAP BODS ETL and WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) and Message Queue (WMQ) support and development for successful high volume of production data processing.
Responsibility: Worked as BODS developer for providing support to Supply chain and PCB in ETL. Key responsibility is to ensure successful transfer of data from various sources systems to ETL staging area
and from staging to ETL target system. To respond and provide solutions to various incidents during transfer of data within timeframe defined. Monitoring various daily and weekly batch jobs running in production and ensuring their successful completion. Preparing business report for interfaces containing the information about source, target and error records. Performing the root cause analysis for new ETL incidents and documenting them. Weekly updating and discussing issue occurred with offshore and onsite teams. Participating in CRQ implementation and attending and resolving MI calls over critical issues. Code review for better performance. Grooming up new joiners’. Direct interaction with client regarding any issue, deliverables and Knowledge transfer.
