  • Ms Anar Mehta

    National President NRIS

    Council - WICCI

The association is a brainchild of Ms Anar Mehta, a genuine epitome of the Global Indian. She has

represented India and stellar organizations like the Somnath Trust and has promoted it, alongside

numerous different locales in India, as social, cultural and spiritual centres among the Indian

Diaspora while living abroad and as well as international citizens. Further, she is also an active

member of prestigious organizations like the World Hindu Economic Forum. Anar Mehta added

more feathers to her cap, as she is also the Co-Founder of Hello Womeniya-an online digital

platform for global women and she is also the National President, NRIS Council of Women’s

Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI). Anar Mehta is truly an inspiration for many

    young women.

This cause is very close to her heart, Gender Equality, which fuels the vision and initiatives

undertaken by Shrishti Bharat. The organization firmly believes that Indian culture has

consistently worshipped women and admired them as role models. Given the correct conditions,

today’s young women of India will be pioneers of tomorrow who will represent India across the

world. Shrishti Bharat intends to work on initiatives that essentially improve the lives of oppressed

    women and girls in India.

Further, Ms Anar is additionally an active representative of the Indian Diaspora back home in

India. A role model for women, she participates in several talk shows and workshops to reach out

to women from all sections of the society and helps them transform themselves and become truly

    empowered.

  • Keya Majmundar

Keya grew up in the culture-rich state of Gujarat in India, where vibrant colors and folk art are

woven into the fabric of life. From a young age she was always attracted to activities involving

painting or drawing, such as an art camp, creating traditional colorful mandalas called ‘rangoli’

during annual festivals, working to achieve a state-level drawing certification, or even decorating

walls with beautiful murals at her childhood home.

Being interested in visual arts since childhood, Keya decided to pursue a career in painting and

drawing. She has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Painting and Drawing from

Academy of Art University, San Francisco, and has also completed a two-year certificate course

in Digital Art from Austin Community College.

A majority of Keya’s work is in oil because she feels it is a versatile medium that gives her the

freedom to use various blending and texturing techniques as needed to portray her subject

realistically. In recent years she has developed a distinct liking for charcoal as well, so several of

her drawings use charcoal on toned paper. She also likes to draw using a mix of different media,

such as color pencils, oil pastels, dry pastels, and pen.

Representing a subject in a realistic manner such that it becomes ‘alive’ on canvas is something

that drives Keya the most. This is why most of Keya’s work is based on a realistic style, and is

also the reason why she is attracted to themes related to human and wildlife portraits, landscapes,

    and still art.

Her recent series of mandala-portraits of iconic women and her past series on biodiversity of

environment and birds, both received positive media/public attention and accolades in India, is an

attempt to encourage giving respect to women and development of green spaces in cities.

Keya works as a freelance artist from her studio in Austin, Texas. Her art has been displayed at

various exhibitions/galleries in the US and India, including ArtSpace Austin, RAW Artists, and

Kanoria Centre for Arts. She also creates art on commission.

key to understanding and expressing one’s self. And so she has done special training in HWT

(Hand Writing without Tears) and was having handwriting improvement and cursive and

script writing classes at her center in India. And she has attended several training workshop

like special need for special read and phonic awareness.
