PRIMARY GRAPHICS

The title is the first thing

its not similar to anything else. that we see on the poster

as it is highlighted more

than anything else, another

reason it use‟s a different

colour so it stands out

more. It doesn‟t use a primary colour although in the poster

itself where the slogan is written it uses a primary colour.

There is also a black, yellow and grew theme going on in the

poster itself, really brings out its genre as it‟s a comedy.

SECONDARY GRAPHICS

• There is a mid-shot of the main characters, which shows all of them

doing their own stance. The actual main character is put write at the

front and is shown closer rather than the others. The group are

shown at front of a licker store, the colour is light grey. Bow-wow is

also wearing a light grey t-shirt with a slogan on it saying “I did not

win the lottery”, this gives the audience a big clue that this has

something to do with wining the lottery. Bow-wow also shows a

cheeky grin, which might indicate the t-shirt is lying. This shows a bit

of humour.

• The other group members are split into happy family and close

friends and the other‟s of friends that are just after the money. The

people on his right excluding his best mate, all seem to have an evil

look going on. Plus they are well dressed indicating that they are

more reliable on money ( a sign of greediness).

TITLES & TYPOGRAPHY

The character „s on the poster have all their legit names in yellow and it really stands out. This isn‟t really common on film posters as their names would be on the bottom. But in this case the editor wanted to show the famous names, as that is one way of bringing customers to watch the film.

The title of the film is made big and bold and stands out more than any other text type, this shows the customer/audience the name of the film. Just beneath that there is a slogan that says "Winning is just the beginning, surviving is another story” really gives the audience a leak of the story in the film. Very smart way into dragging an audience to watch it.

Right at the bottom like every film poster is the name of the produce director etc.. Its is very slim and makes the poster look very professional, yet a negative thing about this poster is that it don‟t show the name of the producer or director bigger or bolder anywhere else on the poster. Because another way of getting customers to watch this film is that they use famous producers or directors names like Chris Rock as some people would watch a film because of the director or the producer.
