ANALYSIS OF DEFINITIONS

As we already know the new ways of learning have been changing our

lifestyle in a dramatically way; however, we have all this types of new tech right

beside us, and most of the time we do not know how to use it in a good way to get

good results; for the other hand, there is something that must be clear, and is thatthe Educational System has now adopted tech as a fundamental tool in the process

of learning and teaching. This takes to the first question.

What is E learning? E-Learning has been identified as an essential element

of the total learning package offered by educational institutions. A model that can

be quite useful to illustrate the position of traditional learning and the integration of

ICT (Information and Communications Technology) in educational institutions can be

seen in for elements: Face to face teaching, Institute determines programme,

network mediated transactions important, and facilitation learner choice; this fourelements refers to back to basics, also refers to the new economy, and global

campus.

E-learning refers to the use of electronic media and information and

communication technologies (ICT) in education. E-learning is broadly inclusive of all

forms of educational technology in learning and teaching. E-learning includes

numerous types of media that deliver text, audio, images, animation, and streaming

video, and includes technology applications and processes such as audio or videotape, satellite TV, CD-ROM, and computer-based learning, as well as local

intranet/extranet and web-based learning. (wikipedia, 2013)

The World Wide Web (commonly known as the web) is not synonymous with

the internet but is the most prominent part of the internet that can be defined as a

techno-social system to interact humans based on technological networks; and the

change can be knows it through the evolution of the web form 1.0 to 4.0.

What is Web 1.0? Is the first generation of the web which could be

considered the read-only web and also as a system of cognition; the early webprovided a limited user interactions or content contributions and only allowed to

search the information and read it.

What is web 2.0? Web 2.0 was defined as a read-write web. The

technologies of web 2.0 allow assembling and managing large global crowds with

common interests in social interactions. Web 2.0 is also known the wisdom web,

people-centric web, participative web, and read-write web. With reading as well as

writing, the web could become bi-directional.The main differences between web 1.0 and web 2.0 are a little bit far away

from each other, but it will be good to make clear some of those, first of all, web 1.0

refers to the interaction only with the device or computer and allows to only read;

but web 2.0 refers to the interaction amount people in virtual communities; web 2.0

allows to read and write into a virtual interaction in online communities.

What is education 2.0? This term refers to a lot of meanings, first of all

because just the fact that this is named education 2.0 talks about how somethingthat is so traditional as education or teaching, has now adopted new ways in order

to improve and learn into the best possible ways. E2.0 is so complex because

The web 2.0 tools, in which people who are involve, can interact with it. And I am

talking about the playful, the expressive, the reflective and the exploratory.

Web 2.0 technologies offer new ways for learners to conduct personal

research which is something really good to teach to the most of students nowadays.

These new and progressive ways are been adopted by the educationalprograms to learn, in which the whole process includes a huge social participation,

and all of it has to do with the simple reason of interacting with the internet. Web

2.0 works to support learning and learners.

What is blended learning? A lot of people have tried to define blended

learning as a mix of media and modes blended learning is a combination of e-

learning and face-to-face (F2F) delivery. But blended learning does not refer only tothat.

Blended learning is thus a flexible approach to course design that

supports the blending of different times and places for learning,

offering some of the conveniences of fully online courses without the

complete loss of face-to-face contact. The result is potentially a more

robust educational experience than either traditional or fully online

Conclusion

Thanks to the general introduction of new tech and all the aspects that Ive

mentioned before, education has new systems now, some of those are great in

order to increase and built knowledge and some other can work as a distraction

depending of the use; Tech was created with the purpose of making our life a lot

easier and, in education the main purpose of tech is to help people in the learning

and teaching development process; tech is a fundamental piece in our lives, but it is

not the most important thing in the world. There can be infinite uses of thecomputer and of new age technology, but if teachers themselves are not

able to bring it into the classroom and make it work, then it fails. - Nancy
