Kingston Artists Open Studios (KAOS) is a voluntary group that champions the visual arts in Kingston, through our main annual event Open Studios, as well as other exhibitions and community events.

Open Studios is a nationwide scheme, created to support the work of artists within the local community. The aim is to promote accessibility to art and artists. Visits are free of charge and artists are happy to talk about their creative process. Works of art are for sale but there is no obligation to buy, the focus is on enjoying your visit.This will be our sixth year and we expect 2016 to be our biggest yet. 74 artists and makers will be showing a range of 3D and 2D work in 13 venues across Kingston. Open studios provides an opportunity for you to meet local artists, see their work and find out about the techniques they use and the passions that inspire them. The event will be taking place over two weekends on 11-12 and 18-19 June, between 11am and 5pm.
