National Conference 2015 Main Sessions Morning Workshops
To change the futureRob Parsons OBE, Founding Chairman of Care for the Family
Arnold Toffler said “It is true that if we do not learn from history we may have to re-live it, but if we do not change the future, we will have to endure it and that could be worse”. What a concept that is – “To change the future”. In this session, best-selling author and international speaker Rob Parsons will share his thoughts on how we can shape the future for the sake of the next generation.
Authentic leadership Carrie Grant, Television Presenter and Vocal Coach
The job of leading our next generation is an awesome task and a complex challenge. How do we meet the need? How do we self-encourage; feel good enough; know we are getting it right? How do we gather and lead others alongside us in the challenge? In this session, mother of four and popular television personality Carrie Grant will look at how we can address these and other challenges.
Throughout the day, you will receive encouraging messages given by world-class speakers.
Throughout the morning and afternoon you can choose from the following workshops:

Lunch and refreshments are provided, allowing you to make the most of every aspect of the day.
The exhibition zone and Playtime shop will be packed with resources for you to browse through during the day. Don’t be disappointed

Joining the dots – Jo Gordon, Daniel’s DenRunning a toddler group can be one of the most rewarding things to do but there can be days when it feels too much. Having a local prayer network can give you the opportunity to share your joys and challenges with other like-minded people. This practical seminar gives you keys to setting one up at grassroots level.
Play and pray – Victoria Beech, GodVentureIt can be hard to know the best way to introduce prayer in a toddler group, but introducing both children and parents to their own conversation with God will be life changing! Come and collect loads of creative ideas to pray.

3There are times as toddler group leaders when we can become so caught up with the week-in, week-out activities – just grabbing snippets of time to plan the sessions, and not really thinking about shaping the future.
How lovely would it be to take a whole day to dream about the future? What changes could we implement? What differences could we bring to brighten up our sessions? What more could we do for our families? What new ideas and resources could we use?
This is exactly what Playtime will be doing – aiding you to dream, think beyond the everyday and see your dreams become a reality.
Is there change on the horizon for toddler groups? Come and find out. Exciting times ahead!
