There is an acute shortage of skilled paramedical workforce in India. There is a need for over 10 lakh
skilled paramedical personnel in India in next five years. There is an urgency to increase this
workforce as well as impart quality training to improve their skill sets. Therefore, keeping in mind need
for huge trained workforce of para-medical professionals by healthcare industry of India, Sumandeep
Vidyapeeth has started various Diploma, B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses of para-medical sciences from
Academic Year 2016-17.
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is an institution deemed to be university notified by Ministry of Human
Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India vide notification No. F.9-46/2004-U.3 of the
GOI, New Delhi and u/s 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 vide UGC Notification No. F.No.6-1-6/2004 (CPP-1)
dated 3rd March, 2007. Sumandeep Vidyapeeth has seven constituent institutes which offer Under
Graduate programmes like MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Pharm, Pharm D, B.Sc (Nursing), PB B.Sc.
(Nursing), ANG, GNM and B.Sc. (Paramedical) etc., Post Graduate programmes like MD, MS, MDS,
MPT, M.Sc. (Nursing), M.Pharm, Pharm D PB, MBA (Healthcare), M.Sc. (Para-Medical) etc.,
Diploama program in Para-Medical sciences and Super-speciality program like M.Ch. and D.M. All
the programmes offered by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth are approved by statutory bodies viz. MCI, DCI,
PCI, INC, IAP and UGC. The Sumandeep Vidyapeeth imparts quality medical education and training
and provide affordable, scientific, evidence based health care, inculcate a culture of enquiry in faculty
and students, leading to a life time habit of ethical practice and community oriented research.
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is awarded with NAAC 'A' Grade with 3.53 CGPA out of 4 which is highest in
state of Gujarat.
Faculty of Para-Medical Sciences is established in the year 2016 to deliver job oriented para- medical
education to produce industry ready para-medical professionals. It emphasizes on delivering quality
education with continuous hands on training in 1360 bedded on campus Super-Multi Speciality
Hospital to develop specialized skills to the class of students who are otherwise deprived of such
opportunities to be part of health care delivery system. The primary aim of this faculty is to well fill the
large number of para-medical staff gaps by providing quality modern and affordable education and to
provide employable workforce to the healthcare industry. All the Paramedical courses are related to
the medical, dental, physiotherapy, nursing, pharmacy and management programs which are already
offered by constituent institutions which are recognised by UGC and statutory bodes.

hostels, world class sport complex, conventional center, Open-Air Ampi Theater, hospital, temple

Admissions are offered to regular (outside Sumandeep Vidyapeeth) students as well as In-Service
(Employees of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth)
An in-service candidate is permitted to pursue para-medical course in the specialization where in
he/she is posted. An in service candidate has to execute bond for serving Sumandeep Vidyapeeth in
the area of need for a period of one year after completion of course as per terms and condition of the
bond.

2. From the seats available in each program/course, 15% of the seats shall be filled from the NRI category & of the remaining seats 50% shall be filled from the candidates belonging to Jain Community & other 50% shall be filled from the open category.
Following shall be the seats distribution.
Note : The vacant Jain minority category and NRI seats will be offered to General / Management category students

8. CATEGORY OF SEATS AND SEAT DISTRIBUTION

1. Student needs to submit duly filled application form along with photocopies of required
documents and cheque/s or DD in favor of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth for the application form
fees. Student can download application online from .in or it www.sumandeepvidyapeethdu.edu
can be procured from Admission Cell of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth.
2. Admissions in paramedical courses are offered based on merit list prepared based on marks
scored in eligibility exam. Separate category wise merit list shall be prepared.
3. Student who has been offered the seat in particular course will have to complete the admission
formalities within stipulated date. If the student fails to take admission before such date, his/her
admission stands cancel automatically.
4. The cancellation of admission and refund of the fees shall as mentioned as above.

11. FEES STRUCTURE
Note :
a. The student should bring account payee cheque/s for fees in the name of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth.
b. Student also must bring cheque/s for securing feature fee as mention at clause 8 above.
c. When vacant NRI seat/s are offered to general / Management quota, the fees shall be of NRI category in INR.
d. The Sumandeep Vidyapeeth accepts payment only towards admission fee, tuition fee and other fees as notified.
e. Sumandeep Vidyapeeth does not charge capitation fee or donation in whatever nomenclature or form.
f. College Deposit is refunded without interest after completion of course and on clearing all dues of the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth.
g. Every student shall pay tuition fee and other fee, as prescribed by the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth within the due date notified. The annual fee prescribed will be the same for entire duration of the course.
h. If the fees paid after due date, the student will have to pay fine of Rs. 150/- per day.

12. PAYMENT OF FUTURE FEE; UNDERTAKING INFORMATION
1. Students granted admission will have to secure the payment of the fees for balance years by
providing an undertaking and unconditional bank guarantee in favour of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth
Deemed to be University for the payable amount which can be encashed by Sumandeep
Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University in the event the fees are not paid and /or the student leaves
the course mid-stream as the seat remains vacant after last date of the admission.
2. To facilitate, at the option of the students, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University will
accept un-dated account payee cheque towards the payable fees amount to be drawn in the
name of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University along with an affidavit and covering
letter asserting that the cheque is in lieu of payment of fees and can be encashed in the event the
fees are not paid and / or the student leaves the course mid-stream as the seat remains vacant
after last date of the admission.
3. Students of Jain Minority Category taking admission in para-medical courses will have 10%
waiver in their fees. If student is willing to execute a bond for serving the University in the area of
need for a period of one year after completion of course on subsistence allowance that may be
decided by the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth at that time.
4. However, in the event of breach of this bond, student shall:
a. Pay to Sumandeep Vidyapeeth a sum of Rs. 50000/- for Diploma, Rs. 75000/- for B.Sc. and Rs.
100000/- for M.Sc. and PG Diploma courses as a penalty
b. Pay to Sumandeep Vidyapeeth the difference of fees between the fees prescribed along with
interest of 12% per year from the date of admission till the date of payment
c. After the execution of bond, if candidate wants to withdraw the executed bond, he/she has to
comply with terms mentioned at 4 (a) & (b) above.
1. If student chooses to withdraw form the program of study in which he/she is enrolled, the
institution concerned shall follow the following four-tier system for the refund of fees remitted by
the students.
2. If the student leaves the course after 30 days of notify last day of the admission or in middle of
the course, he/she will have to pay fees for remaining years of course.
3. Fees shall be refunded by all Sumandeep Vidyapeeth to an eligible student within fifteen days
form the date of receiving a written application from him/her in this regard.
13. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COURSE

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth ensures strict observation of the discipline and conduct of rules.
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth maintains zero-tolerance for Ragging, discrimination and sexual
harassment and implements Supreme Court, UGC and other statutory guide lines in true letter and
spirit.
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth has constituted a "Grievance Redressal Committee" (GRC), to address and
effectively resolve complaints, representations and grievances related to any of the issues of
admissions.
Any legal dispute arising out of admission process shall be subject to the Waghodia Jurisdiction.
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, At & Po. Pipariya Tal. Waghodia, Dist. Vadodara, has not authorized any
individual or agency to deal with the admissions in any of its constituent colleges. If such a dealing is
done then, the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth / Institution / College will not be responsible.
The admission rules and regulations are subject to change and such changes, if any will be notified on
the website.
