DAILY HIGHLIGHTS The Brisbane Show Camp is a joint program of Education Queensland and the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland. Conducted by the Brisbane Urban Environmental Education Centre. Ph- 3552 7111 On the 13th August, members of Underground Opera performed at the Entertainment and Fashion Precinct at the Ekka to entertain the crowds. Heidi Enchelmaier and Ashley Denning sang songs from Chess the Musical, The Little Mermaid, and Barbara Streisand’s “Don’t Rain On My Parade” to the delight of the crowd. The duo sang to promote the Underground Opera Company. They are "hoping to gain publicity for the company because they do unusual shows in unusual places like mines, caves and even underwater.”, according to Ms Enchelmaier. Underground Opera will be performing West End to Broadway in the Spring Hill Reservoir from August 11-20.
