PRODUCTION IR is also a manufacturer of compatible and remanufactured consumables. The company has 2 production lines, one for bottling photocopier toners and another for remanufacturing laser cartridges, these latter are sold under the brand name.

Production complies with the standards set by the certifications ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007. The remanufacturing process has been assessed by an external company, SGS, which periodically confirms the product environmental certification in line with standard ISO 14021:2016.

The cartridges are tested according to the parameters set by the STMC. The raw materials used for the production processes come from top-quality suppliers with which the

company has forged long-term business partnerships.

For IR, quality is not just a declaration of intent. It is a working method that guarantees meticulous attention to customer needs, workers’ health and respect for the environment.

IR is one of the most careful companies in Europe in verifying that the compatible and remanufactured products it distributes are entirely compliant with the European directives governing the import and circulation of products containing potentially hazardous substances. REACH and RoHS II are two directives that lay down rules which must be followed in order to safeguard public health. It is for this reason that its products which are considered to be electric and electronic devices not only bear the CE marking but also the crossed-out wheelie bin, in compliance with the WEEE directive, which means that the product must not be treated as household waste, but rather disposed of separately from other waste in order to allow for suitable treatment and recycling. IR pays the utmost attention to complying with all regulations laid down by the European control system for the import of dangerous chemicals (REACH). All of its products come with the relative safety data sheets (SDS) in Italian and in other EU languages. IR business has a team of people whose sole responsibility is to constantly monitor these aspects, so as to ensure that the products put out on the market are safe and reliable for the people who use them. Moreover, IR is a member of ETIRA, an association that includes some of the top European remanufacturers. As a member of this association, IR has signed a code of ethical conduct whereby it commits to respecting the intellectual property and patent rights of OEMs over some of their products.
