Name :Aminuddin bin Baki / Aminuddin BakiDate Place of Birth: 26 Januari 1926. was born in

Kampung Batu Sembilan Chemor, Perak

Education: 1932- 1936 : First education at Sekolah

Melayu,Chemor and Sekolah Anderson, Ipoh.

1942-1944: work as an intepretor at Ipohs Court 1947-1951: continue his studies in Universiti Malaya,

Singapore (Bachelor of Arts with honour in Historyfield.)

1953-1956 :work as a lecturer in Maktab

Perguruan Sultan Idris 1961-1963: Head of Education (Negeri

Sembilan and Selangor)

Head of Education Malaysia in Federated

Malay States (Negeri-Negeri Melayu Bersekutu)

He was awarded as the Father of Education,

Malaysia for service and excellence in improving the

quality of education in this country.

Died in December 24, 1965 at the age of 39

years old after Asar prayer at his house.

in Asia by United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organizations(UNESCO).

Also got a title as Father of ModernEducation, Malaysia by Tan Sri Hamdan

Sheikh Tahir. The youngest Ex-Malaysia Chief Education

Barnes to explore the problem of Malayeducation.

Involved in the preparation of the RazakReport in 1955 to contribute opinions and

submit a Memorandum on theCadanganSistem Pendidikan Kebangsaan.

Become a member of the Advisory Committeein finalizing the Rahman Talib Report in 1960

(Bahasa Melayu as the national language aswell as increase the mobility of Malayeducation.)
