American Megatrends is pleased to introduce its latest diagnostic tool - AMIDiag 5.42. AMIDiag 5.42 includes several improvements to the award-winning AMIDiag 5.22 for DOS and provides the most comprehensive and effective set of diagnostics tools for the PC in the industry. AMIDiag 5.42 provides complete CPU tests for the new Intel Deschute, Celeron processorsä, and multiprocessor motherboards with up to 16 processors. AMIDiag 5.42 diagnoses USB devices, Sound Blaster and compatible sound cards, PCI, plug and play devices, DVD CD-ROM devices, 9GB+ Hard Drive support, ATAPI Tape Drives, LS-120 Drives, SCSI devices, and memory tests on systems with up to 4 GB of RAM. AMIDiag 5.42 also includes support for new features and technologies such as SMBIOS 2.1, DMI 1.2 and 2.0, and an improved user interface. AMIDiag provides the user with the ability to thoroughly test today's PCs by equipping them with the right tools.
