Amgen Foundation Staff Involvement Programs The Amgen Foundation Staff Involvement Programs provides a way for staff members to increase their financial support to their favorite charitable organizations. I. Matching Gifts Amgen employees who make a donation of $50 or more to EARTHS Magnet School are eligible to have their donation matched 100% by the Amgen Foundation. Please follow the instructions below to request that Amgen Foundation match your gift:

Access the Matching Gifts Program website from the homepage of MyAmgen. Click on Quick Links and then “Matching Gifts & Amgen Volunteers”

Go to Matching Gifts in the bottom left of the page and click on “Get Started”

Click on “Submit New Request” Select whether you want to make your donation through the Matching

Gifts website, or whether you have already made the donation, and click on the “Next” button

In the Organization Name field, type “EARTHS Magnet School” and click the “Search” button

Click on the “Submit New Request” next to EARTH’s name Fill in the appropriate information regarding your gift

II. Volunteer Service Grants Amgen employees who volunteer 15 hours or more with EARTHS Magnet School one calendar year may be eligible to earn a $500 Volunteer Service Grant. Each additional hour above and beyond the initial 15 can earn another $25 up to a $2,000 annual cap per staff member. Please follow the instructions below to record your hours and request a Volunteer Service Grant:

Access the Amgen Volunteers website from the homepage of MyAmgen. Click on Quick Links and then “Matching Gifts & Amgen Volunteers”

Go to Amgen Volunteers in the bottom right of the page and click on “Get Started”

If you have never been to the Amgen Volunteers site before, it will ask you to verify your information to activate your account.

From the homepage of Amgen Volunteers click on the “Record Your Hours & Request a Volunteer Service Grant” blue/green button in the middle-right side of the homepage.

Click on “Search for Organization” In the Organization Name field, type “EARTHS Magnet School” and click

the “Search” button Click on the “Record Hours” next to EARTH’s name Fill in the appropriate information regarding your volunteer time. Each time

you volunteer, return to this page to log your hours. Once you hit the 15 hour threshold the system will notify you that you are

eligible to request a volunteer service grant. Return to the website at that time to request your volunteer service grant.
