Introduction
When I received this component I knew straight away it was
a strong element. Research into the Amerind people
revealed many strong and brave traits that I thought would
be extremely useful for my pool of character information.
From this I will extract the more greater physical attributes
that American Indians are regarded for to carve my
character. Because this is such an imposing component I dowant it to be apparent in my final scene so at this stage I will
create my character strongly around this information. I
would like the character to have strong Amerind traits so I
can construct the environment accordingly and I really like
the characteristics. They are very strong and imposing.
This is my research of the people of the Amerind component
to go towards my character design element of the project.

Real People Warrior Chief
Crazy Horse
Crazy Horse was a legendary warrior who served the Oglala Lakota. Born Cha-
O-He (meaning In The Wilderness) in 1845, Crazy Horse quickly gained
prominence for his courageous acts and heroic skill in battle which earned him
his legendary reputation. He was described by author Charles A. Eastman as
an uncommonly handsome man with a magnificent and imposing stature.
Physically perfect and an Apollo in symmetry but yet a modest, courteous andgraceful born warrior. His influence on the field of battle was irreplaceable
and comforting to all who served with him as his presence in The Great Sioux
War of 1876-77 was deeply appreciated. His surprise attack on US Cavalry
Officer George Crooks involving roughly 1500 Lakota and Cheyenne Warriors
was the ultimate factor to General Custers future defeat in The Battle of Little
Bighorn. Because of Crazy Horses famous victory over Crooks men, it stopped
Crooks from joining up with Custers Cavalry which then left Custer vulnerable.
Witnesses claimed that Crazy Horses performance in that battle was fierce
and he lead from the front to become the greatest fighter in the whole
battle.
No authentic photograph
was ever taken as CrazyHorse refused it.

Real People Warrior Chief
Sitting Bull
He was the sole driving force behind the famous Battle of Little Bighorn because it was his premonition of defeating
the cavalry whilst at a Sun Dance with other tribes that motivated the attack in the first place. It was acts like this
that made many Hunkpapa survivors claim he was made the Supreme Chief of the Whole Sioux nation in 1867.
As Sitting Bull become older, he was generous and often helped out survivors of other villages who seeked refuge. He continuously refused the terms set by the US Government for him to surrender. As his people suffered more
under the tyranny of the cavalry, Sitting Bull finally gave in for the sake of his peoples preservation. A moral he
fought to keep his whole life.
After switching social sides Sitting Bull spent 4 months as show Indian for Buffalo Bill Codys Wild West Show. He
earned $50 a week in wages and a amassed a small fortune by charging for his autograph and picture. He gained
celebrity status was transformed into a romanticized Warrior. Sitting Bull left the show in1890 to go back to village
life but shortly after was killed after a struggle to arrest him. His legacy has seen him become the subject of manyHollywood films like the 2007 Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee.
Sitting Bull was Holy man/Warrior for the Hunkpapa Lakota. He was born in
1831 near The Grand River in South Dakota. Sitting Bull was raised to be
warrior and grew up to lead his people as a tribal chief as they spent years
resisting to the US Governments intrusive policies. He regularly attacked
migrating parties and settlers to try and force the Whites to leave his
homeland. He also led numerous war parties against Fort Berthold, FortStevenson and Fort Buford from 1865 through to 1868.

Night WolfFictional Character Warrior Shaman
From the Mortal Kombat game from 2011, thereis the emergence of a new character. An
Apache Shaman Warrior named Night Wolf. A
proud fierce warrior who is dedicated to the
cause of the good. He depends on his internal
and external spiritual energy to enhance his
power.
Night Wolf is completely in tune with the
spiritualistic aspect of his upbringing and is able to
draw upon this gift for things like a bow and arrow
wielded from complete spiritual energy. The
tomahawks which he possesses are empowered
with an ethereal green flame to challenge his
opponents at close range.
Night Wolf lives up to his namesake and has a special
relationship with wolves, even able to assume the shape
of one.

My research into the characters of the Amerind people
showed me that there are certain traits that correlate heavily
with every character I researched..The three I have chosen asdirect character influences that had the correlating traits.
These are: Fearless, Spiritual, Warriors, Bravery, Leadership and
Caring to name a few
I will be using these traits to build my character as they are
very strong and give me a load of ideas. At this point Im now
thinking about having a youthful Native American warrior as
my character.
