Subject: Advancements in Digitally Controlled GMAW Power Supplies. Welding power supplies continue to evolve. This talk will provide an overview of the advantages of wave form controlled technology in microprocessor controlled power supplies including AC GMAW. This technology is applicable for Manual Welding as well as Hard Automation and Robotics. Mel will also address Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel applications and the advantages of using the Pulse Process, and how we can now re-place some GTAW applications through the Advanced Pulse Technologies available today.

SCHOLARSHIPS The Puget Sound section awards scholarships to students enrolled in weld programs at local colleges. The funds for these scholarships are from donations from members and other inter-ested individuals, businesses or groups to train welders.
