It’s June, and....The parents of the bride move
about,in a quiet wayNow that the wedding is jut a
few days away.Father is pacing, he’ll do what
he is told,to help his sweet princess
who’sleaving the fold.Mother ignores all the chaos
and clutter,being left everywhere, by her
precious daughter.There’s hair in the sink,the dog needs a bath,panic is growing in everyone’s
path.Wasn’t yesterday she rode her
first bike?Was it just last week, when
she first met Mike?Where have the years gone;
the smiles, the tears.Will he give her some comfort
when she has fears?The parents have hope, and
together they pray,that soon she’ll be happy as
she is today.
