Grand RapidsWe had a great turnout at both
morning and afternoon events onVeterans Day. Many of youproudly displayed your patrioticcolors. We recognized many ofour veterans as they shared withus where they served and yearsof service. Residents wereencouraged to walk around theroom and shake hands and thankeach veteran for their service. Wealso recognized our veterans atthe 2:30 Happy Hour. We hadThe Silvertones here forentertainment and sang along tomany of the patriotic songs theyplayed.

We were thankful to have niceweather to shop, go out for icecream and picnic.
New Year’s CelebrationJoin us for our New Year’s Eve Event on Friday, December 30th, at 6:30pm,
in the dining room. We’ll have Eddie Francisco here to entertain you as we bringin the New Year 2017. Hors d’oeuvres and champagne are on the menu for thisspecial event. Because this is a very special occasion we would like toencourage you to come dressed up for the party. This is not required but it is anopportunity to dress in your best for a special celebration. We will be taking lotsof pictures throughout the evening.

• Featuring Jimmy Stewart’s returnto acting after serving in WorldWar II, the movie was the firststarring role for Donna Reed.
