Love Is Ageless Dance

From the table decorations to everyone’s beautifulfestive attire, our annual “Love is Ageless” dance was

an enjoyable time! We enjoyed some specialValentine’s Day snacks and good music. Whether

dancing in our chairs, just tapping our foot, or hittingthe “dance floor,” we all had a fun evening!

Trivia ChallengeWe will be doing a

trivia challenge in thelobby. The first one isThursday, March 3rd,at 2 pm. We canwork in groups or asindividuals. All About You!We will be starting a new

class, “All About You.” You willbe given a binder to keep yourpapers in and at each meeting,we will have a paper with acouple questions on it askingabout you. Example: where wereyou born, what are your parents’names, who was your best friendgrowing up, your favorite pet,etc. This should be a fun timebringing out all the goodmemories of our childhood, andhopefully we will share storieswhile remembering all the fun ofgrowing up. Also, it will all be inour binder for your families tosee. I’m sure they would reallyenjoy reading about you!

Our first meeting will beTuesday, March 8th, at 2:30 inthe Activity Room. We hope tosee you there!

Raffle Tickets!Starting in March, raffle tickets

will be given out to those whoparticipate in activities, such asStrength Training, TriviaChallenge, Walking Club, etc.This is to motivate residents incoming to at least try the dailyactivities. Once you come, youare sure to return. Not allactivities are for everybody, but itnever hurts to try something new.Come join the fun and maybe geta prize too!

is celebrated around the world.Many people believe that the egg isa sign of rebirth. Originally, peoplewould take great time and effort topaint and decorate eggs. However,over time, some people chose touse plastic eggs or chocolate eggsinstead.

• Decorating Easter eggs datesback 2,500 years.

• Countries such as Russia,Romania and Poland stillcreate very detailed coloredeggs.

• Some people prefer tan Eastereggs, so they boil the eggs inwater containing onion skins.

• In England, different coloredyarns are also tied to the eggsto create a unique look.

• On Easter in the UnitedKingdom, painted eggs arerolled down steep hills for fun.

• In the United States, children rolleggs on the ground using aspoon, which is an annual eventat the White House.

• Easter egg hunts are anotherfamous tradition.
