American History-Example

Remember to indent using the TAB key! This document is just an example yours will be

different. You have to imagine you are part of the assigned tribe. What would you do all day?

What would your house look like and what are some of the things you

would see all around you? You could insert a picture of the type of house

you live in. There are some cool borders under picture tools, please use

them as well as text wrapping on all three cultural pictures. You should be typing in size 12,

Arial or Calibri with a line spacing of 1.5. If you don’t know how to do that, click on

the home tab and look in the paragraph section of the ribbon above. Just hover over

all the buttons until you come to one that says line spacing. The title should be done

with Word Art (use your common sense here) and the map is a watermark or an

image placed behind text and recolored. Remember to type your head- ing and

not a head-er. A heading only goes on the first page, a header continues

throughout your paper. You will need three pictures of cultural aspects and one

map of your tribe’s region. For descriptive writing, right click on a word to use the thesaurus.

In Summary:

Type the body of the paragraph in Arial/Calibri size 12.

Have a correct Heading, indent first sentence and no spelling or grammar mistakes.

Line spacing is 1.5.

Use Word Art for Title.

Insert 3 approved cultural pictures with picture borders and text wrapping.

Use a map of your tribe’s region as a watermark or image set behind text .
