    The AHA supports the bill introduced in the United states senate and

    house of representatives which authorize the FDA to regulate the

    manufacture,labeling,advertising,promotion,distribution,and sale

    of tobacco products .

    AHA geared towards influencing policy makers and legislators tomake significant difference in the fight against the heart diseases,stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases.

    AHA also seek to influence policy and resource allocation

    decision through the participation in The National Coalitionfor Heart and Stroke Research.

    The main motto of the coalition is to achieve the following threegoals:
