Yes Vehicular emission is kept under control by
proper maintenance and by regular monitoring of fuel and oil consumption. Every effort is being/

Yes Dust is generated during excavation and loading/unloading. Dust suppression is done by
sprinkling of water.

abatement measures will be taken to keep noise level within the prescribed limit by CPCB.

barrier will minimize propagation of noise.

Yes There will be some noise due to movement of trucks/dumpers/excavator. Operation of
machinery will generate the noise. It is an intermittent/slow process. AC cabins have been
provided in all the equipment with very less noise inside the cabin.

No No use/handling of hazardous material takes place except periodical oil change which will be
handled in closed containers. Spillage of
Oil/Grease during maintenance of heavy vehicles
is controlled by using collection tray etc. Care is
taken during its use for lubrication of equipment,
so that nothing falls on ground to contaminate
soil. Equipments are being / will be kept well
maintained to keep them leakage free.

No Zero discharge principle is followed. Waste water from office toilets will be disposed off in soak pit
via septic tank.

Yes Dust is generated by movement of machinery &
mining operations, excavation, loading and
unloading. There is likelihood of increase of PM concentration (which may affect surrounding land
or water).
Impact referred above is localized, transitory and
intermittent in nature, and hence their effect on
environment is insignificant. Dust generation on
the haulage roads will be suppressed by water
spray.

No Residential facilities provided to the staff in township within captive cement plant. There will

11015/390/2008-IA.II ((M) dated 22nd February, 2011 & letter dated 22nd August, 2014, and
change in name of project proponent to M/s. UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Unit: Sewagram Cement
Works).
A. Specific Conditions
(xx):- “No Transportation of ore outside the mine lease area shall be carried out
after sunset.”
The company wishes to propose transportation of ore after sunset hours from the Mining lease
area 2831.61 ha.
All the other Environmental Safeguards/ the terms and conditions as stipulated in the
Environmental Clearance will be complied with by UTCL. Therefore, no Terms of Reference are
proposed.
