Shared Vision: focus on long-term cooperative action Need to undertake negotiations on SV on 2 principles:

Equity Historical responsibilities and common and differentiated

responsibilities

Adaptation and means of implementation Need to focus on actions: urgent and immediate needs Need for adaptation costing capacities Establishment of regional centres

Mitigation Keep a firewall between mitigation commitments and mitigation actions (NAMAs) No differentiation Cooperative sectoral approaches: need to consider further and prepare sectoral

studies
