Scooters in School

Although you might think its wrong, we think scooters should be allowed in school. These are the reasons why:

Scooting is a popular and fun sport. It would be a good way to make new friends that share the same interest of scooting. If you don`t have any friends to play with you can scooter. You can teach your friends your tricks and they can teach you their tricks.

Scooting is a dangerous sport unless you have safety gear on! We would make fair and square rules to suit everyone. These could be some of the rules;

1. There would be one zone for scooting!2. No safety gear, no scooting!3. No bare feet, just shoes. 4. We could have an experienced zone and a not so experienced zone for

learners.5. When there are heaps of people coming we could say one class a day for

a while.6. We could have a tricks zone with challenges, ramps, jumps and obstacles

that challenge you.

There’s so many benefits, here’s a few… if you have no space at home and your mum’s telling you that you have to wait till the weekend, you can scooter at school. If you’ve never tried scooting then you could come to school and try it. We would have spare scooters. It’s great exercise for you and great fun.

It would be a great opportunity to have this popular sport in our school and that’s why Belmont Primary should make an effort and do it!!
