In addition, the system can provide interface support at an application level by leveraging on the .NET platform, allowing complete interoperability with other .NET services and computing applications via the Internet. Siveillance Fusion offers both full desktop and a feature rich Web clients, allowing users immediate access to device statuses, reports and video footage from around the world or locally.

Integrated video managementVideo surveillance systems are increas-ingly being used to provide visual verifica-tion both in and around buildings. From a central management station, security personnel can verify via video streams if there is a fire, smoke, intruder or other suspicious activities before calling the emergency services or activating the appropriate response. Siveillance Fusion integrates both IP and analog cameras for live video streaming and network recordings and includes both VMS and NVR options. The DVR support allows distributed local recording on site that can be viewed locally as well as remotely. Irrespective of where the recording is done (NVR/DVR), all video can be accessed through Siveillance Fusion, providing a central point for video management.

Tailored access controlAccess control systems help to closely control access to restricted areas at all times. Such systems allow administrators to centrally manage and control admis-sion to these areas and monitor staff movement via personnel cards or door configuration. Each door on the system can be viewed for status and programmed to allow admission to select personnel based on access permissions and schedul-ing assignments. Doors can also be linked to cameras, using live video streams, to verify identification. Recorded video footage can then be tagged to a specific door for evidential purposes. Siveillance Fusion communicates with these access control systems using an encrypted IP protocol.

Fire safetyFire safety is very important for everyone responsible for buildings, assets and people. Fire alarms and faults can be reported through Siveillance Fusion either as an alarm list or by displaying it on the graphical interface.

Communication between controllers and the management system is accomplished via an encrypted IP protocol.
