I. Introduction

1. Vision

To be an internationally top-ranked, research-driven, independent management institution that grooms future leaders for India and the world.

2. Mission

To create and disseminate research-based knowledge in management that influences scholarship, practice and policy.

To develop and enhance business leadership through innovative world-class programmes in management.

To utilise our knowledge and expertise to engage with business, government and society, and to contribute to the welfare and development of the community at the local, national and global levels.

To have distinguished faculty from India and abroad teach courses and provide a global perspective in our Post Graduate and Executive Education programmes. The School offers a one-year MBA-equivalent Post Graduate Programme (PGP), a part-time Post Graduate Programme in Management for senior executives (PGPMAX), a part-time Management Programme for Family Business (MFAB) and a 5-year doctoral-equivalent Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). The graduated classes of all these programmes form ISB's 6,676 strong alumni network. We also offer short-duration Executive Education (CEE) programmes for middle and senior management. At present, the alumni count for the CEE programmes stands at more than 25,000.

ISB's accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is but one indicator of its status as a prestigious institution of learning that offers great benefits to its alumni.

3. Alumni Relations Office

The Alumni Relations Office works towards building mutually beneficial relationships between the ISB and its alumni. We ensure that alumni are kept fully informed about the developments at the School and offer them a wide range of programmes, events and benefits.

It is our goal to encourage and foster the lifelong participation, involvement and commitment of ISB alumni, whom we regard as vital stakeholders in the advancement of the School. Currently, we have seven domestic chapters and four overseas chapters in our Alumni group. The School continues to seek effective and meaningful ways and means of engaging alumni in its activities and its mission. You can reach us at [email protected].

This handbook details various services that alumni can avail of. Please note that these may change or be enhanced from time to time and that this handbook is valid until April 2016 unless otherwise notified.

4. Alumni Association
