This catalogue has been designed to assist you in selecting an area

lighting product, which will meet your specific requirements. The diverse

selection of pole sizes and mounting bracket options offered within

this catalogue i.e. architectural, roadway traffic and tapered elliptical

brackets, should accommodate most of your lighting needs. However,

if the scope of your specifications or requirements cannot be fulfilled

with these standard products, please contact us: we can custom-design

an array of products to meet any criteria or specification.

TERMS AND CONDITIONSMinimum Billing: $75.00

TERMS Net thirty days upon approved credit.

PRICES Written quotations are valid for sixty (60) days. All other prices are subject to change withoutnotice.

TITLE An order is not binding and processed until written approval has been received by Aluminous. Titleof goods pass onto purchaser upon receipt of approval by Aluminous or when goods are loaded fortransportation to the Ship to Address, whichever is sooner. Aluminous reserves the right to retainor resume possession until the purchase is paid for in full.

DELIVERY All materials are sold F.O.B. factory, delivery is on a prepaid and charge basis. All goods areinspected before dispatch. Any claims for loss or damage in shipment or unloading shall be filedwith the carrier by the consignee. Separate shipments of anchor bolts etc. will be subject to additional freight charges.

SHIPMENT& STORAGE Shipment of goods must be made within thirty (30) days of completion, or stocking charge of 2%

per month will be added. This applies to all orders received with a delivery request date and RUSHorders. Poles not erected immediately must be unwrapped by purchaser and stored above ground.Aluminous is not responsible for soil erosion to finish caused by improper storage.

WARRANTY All materials are carefully inspected before shipment and are guaranteed to be free of material and workmanship defects. Any product which is proven defective in material or workmanship will be repairedor replaced by Aluminous, provided that such claim is made within one year from date of shipment anddefect proven from normal use for purpose intended. Aluminous will not be deemed liable for labor costsincurred to dismantle or re-install the product and transportation cost to and from Aluminous Plant ifreplacement is deemed necessary.

RETURN OF MATERIAL Written authorization must be given by Aluminous and materials forwarded prepaid. A

credit shall be issued minus outgoing freight, cancellation charges and restocking charges if applicable.

CANCELLATION If the purchaser desires to cancel an order, Aluminous must give written acceptance of cancellation in writing. The cancellation charges shall be the cost incurred by Aluminous, but in nocase less than 10% of the value of the order.

ORDER PROCESSING APPROVED DRAWING have to be produced before the order is released for manufacturing.

HOLD ORDERS will not be processed until released by the purchaser, at which time they are subject to price review.BLANKET ORDERS are valid only for the year the order is placed. All outstanding stock will becharged to the customer one year from the initial date the order was placed and will be shipped tothe customer's designated storage area, or stocking charges apply. SUBSTITUTION: Aluminous reserves the right to substitute specifications.

BACK CHARGES Aluminous will not accept any back charges for late delivery or charges for reworking on site unlessAluminous has issued written authority.

The wind speed map shows the maximum steady wind expected within a 50-year period ofrecurrence at an elevation of 30 feet above ground. If standards are mounted above grade,please call for assistance if needs arise. Since winds are unpredictable and usually involve gustsEPA calculation allows for a 1.3 gust factor.

Aluminous Outdoor Lighting Products have been designed to withstand a specific wind load foreach lighting standard. Please note: selecting the proper size pole for a specific applicationrequires one to know the EPA of the total number of fixtures. Because of the different windvelocities in any geographical area reference should be made to the area where the pole isbeing installed. Proper selection should be made from the Canadian and U.S. Wind Speed Map.

Aluminous Outdoor Lighting Products EPA rating is in conformity with the requirements of theAASHTO Standard specifications for structural support for poles and arm brackets.

Please note: All maximum wind speeds are measured in mph (miles per hour).

SHAFT One or two piece construction fabricated from coil stock, weldable grade, hot rolled commercial quality carbon steel - - guaranteed minimum yield strength 55,000 PSI. Shaft has uniform taper or approximately .14 per foot. Wall thickness 11 GA(.120 wall) or 7Ga (.180 wall) as specified (see ordering information. Reinforcedhand hole is furnished with cover.

BASE PLATE Fabricated from structural quality hot rolled steel. Meets or exceeds minimum yieldstrength of 36,000 PSI. Base telescopes and is circumferentially welded to poleshaft.

ANCHORAGE Hot rolled steel bar - - minimum yield strength of 50,000 PSI. bolts have L bendon one end and are threaded on the other end. Bolts are galvanized and are furnished with two nuts and washers.

BASE COVER Fabricated from heavy gauge quality carbon steel. Two piece cover conceals base.(optional)
