?High StrengthAluminium, by its very nature, is a stronger material when compared to PVCu and unlike PVCu doesn’t require any additional reinforcements.

Aluminium offers superior strength which allows for larger arrangements which, when using timber or PVCu, are only possible using bulky profiles and couplers.

Most PVCu bi-folding doors are limited when it comes to size allowing 750mm width per pane; Our Flair Aluminium Bi-folding Doors can accommodate panes up-to 1200mm wide allowing for uninterrupted panoramic views.

To help keep your family safe we offer restrictor hinges to prevent the risk of falls. These only allow the window to be opened partially which is important when fitting windows in a childs bedroom. These hinges have an override to allow for full opening in case of an emergency.

The polyamide thermal barrier aids in reducing heat loss and enhancing the overall U Value of the product which allows Flairs Aluminium windows to achieve high energy ratings.

Flairs Aluminium Range uses materials that have a very high resistance to heat transfer from the inner face of the frame to the external face of the frame. This gives greatly improved thermal efficiency and reduced condensation.

ThresholdOur threshold options allow you to choose from a floor to floor threshold, all the way through to a traditional step which provides maximum weather rating for extreme conditions. When a flush doorway is required, for example separating two rooms of for wheelchair access, our low threshold option allows for a smooth transition.

Trickle VentsIn certain circumstances your local Building Regulations will require you to have ventilation slots in your window or door frames to allow your home to ‘breathe’. Your Flair retailer will advise you on the options available and the requirements.
