Reynodual® is a new type of product. It is a coil-coated double sheet aluminium panel for facades with high technical, visual and environmentally-friendly requirements. It offers the possibility of creating complex shapes for an attractive and creative appearance.

Consisting of two aluminium sheets bonded together with a total thickness of 3 mm, Reynodual® guarantees good wind resistance and meets the stringent fire-protection requirements.

Product characteristics:

• Fire resistance according to EN 13501-1, class A2

• High wind resistance

Applications:

• Ideal for high-rise, industrial and public buildings, tunnels, stations, subway stations, airports, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, stadiums and event halls

Solutions for environmental projects and building renovation

Ventilated facades according to RT 2012.In Reynobond® Architecture, Reynolux® Building and Reynodual®, Alcoa Architectural Products manufactures and markets three high-quality solutions (aluminium panels and sheets) for architecture, construction and refurbishing. Used as back-ventilated facade systems, they contribute to meeting energy, environmental or passive building standards.

Back-ventilated facades fit like a second skin around the building and ensure optimal external thermal insulation based on the following properties: high thermal inertia, minimization of thermal bridges, increased thermal performance. This in turn reduces the energy consumed in buildings for heating and air conditioning. This makes ventilated facades the most efficient solution for the external thermal insulation to improve the energy balance of a building.

The energy savings also reduce CO2 emissions. In this way, Reynobond® Architecture, Reynolux® Building and Reyno- dual® Building contribute to new building and renovation meeting the requirements of RT 2012 or for passive houses.
