Amity Intern Program Live, Learn and Teach
in the
USA
Share your World with American Students
Share language & culture for approximately 32 hours per week
Assist the teacher in the classroom
Organize cultural activities
Participate in language clubs
Live with a host family
Immerse themselves in the US language and culture
Amity Intern Teachers
Program Length
Full School Year - 9 months
Semester - 5 months
Shorter assignments possible
Assist in elementary and secondary school assignments throughout the US
Receive minimum monthly stipend of $150
Receive free room and board
If available, audit personal study classes at no cost
What to expect
For the Intern: Amity application fee $150
Visa/SEVIS fees – approx. $330.00
Personal spending money $150.00 per month
Health Insurance –
approx. $70 per month
Roundtrip airfare

Do I qualify ?
Entry Requirements:
• Be at least 20 years old
• Be currently enrolled in an academic institution (college/university) pursuing studies granting a degree or
Have graduated no more than 12 months prior to program start date
• Have a career goal in education
• Have sufficient proficiency in the English language to participate in the program
