Field experiences and work-based learning provide

student experiences in various law enforcement

settings throughout the county. Forensic science is

taught through “hands-on” planned projects, which

include identifying fingerprints, hair and fiber

analysis, and handwriting analysis.

The Law Enforcement curriculum is

designed to prepare high school students

for college and for careers in the field of

criminal justice. Students are challenged

to achieve in an integrated curriculum

environment that is led by a team of

math, science, English, history, physical

education, and law enforcement teachers.

—Emanuel De La Cruz, Red Bank

“No one is ever left out here. We are pretty much one big family. All the teachers are actually there for you and care for you.”

—Kellie Moran, Middletown

“When I heard about wearing uniforms I was not happy, but I actually like it. I love all my teachers. I can see they want their students to excel.”

—Constance Boyd, Long Branch

“Our teachers here are respectable, responsible, and they interact with all the students. My organization has highly increased. I’m happy I came here.”

—Austin Tedder, Howell

“For the first time in my life I actually enjoy school and enjoy being here.”
