m o o d , indigestion is like! y to occur afterwards.

O u r d i g e s t i v e secretions are in· fluenced by o u r emotions to a great extent. Fear, anger, worry and anxiety c a u s e a n almost instantaneous suspension of the stomach's secretions by stopping the rhythmic motions of the stomacfi walls.

Rage and fear not only make the mouth dry but dry the stomach as well. In anger , too, the gall bladder dilates and excretes too much bile and hence there's that bil.iuus feeling.

If there 's an emotional upet before mealtime, one is _wise to_ postp o n e or omit a meal rather than " pay the price" by indulging in both food and emotions at the same time.

T h o s e w h o are happy-go- l ucky, j o y o u s and in a state of mental exhilaration have better digestion than o t h e r s w h o h a v e sttong negative emotions.

Mealtime should be reserved for a happy get- together time. The enjoyment oI food, the elimination of conflict, worry and care should a 1 s o be on the menu. Here's to your health the natural way.
