This is a basic template that you can follow for designing
lesson plans in your classroom. The text in BLUE is there as
descriptors for what content could/should be in those sections of
the plan.
Find a format that works best for you. You may also use the
district or site approved template as appropriate for your
placement. You will need to have a discussion with your Mentor
teacher about this.

Introduction: Good morning! You have 60 seconds to get seated
and ready to play Alma Llanera.Procedure: The teacher will lead the
class in playing alma llanera. During the rehearsal the teacher
will address the following issues/sections
Section D and F, guitar 2: 6/8 rhythm
Section C, guitar 4, m.39: sixteenth notes. Possible solutions
for left hand fingerings, right hand technique.
Section C, guitars 1-4, m.43: Staccato notes.
Measure before section E, guitars 1-3: Sixteenth notes. Possible
solutions for left hand fingerings, right hand technique.
Section E, guitars 3 and 4, m.76-81: need to hear double stops
more clearly. Two measures before section G: Ritardando.
Section H to the end, guitar two: maintain clear 6/8 rhythm.
Teacher will lead the class in playing the remaining concert
repertoire.
Closure: Make sure to practice the rhythms in your part so that
you are able to play without counting out loud!
