PROBLEMS PROBLEMSWhile taking his father-in-law tothe airport in I.uxembourg, AlvaPhillips, missionary in the BlackForest, turned his car over. Ofthe 4 adults and 3 children inthe car, no one was hurt despitewell over one thousand dollars

damage to the car. We are allthankful for this care of God.Two days later we took them backin our car. In the very same townof the accident we noticed a miss

ing in our motor. Unable to locatethe trouble and not able to dootherwise, we returned to Frankfurt by 3:00 A.M. After a fewhours sleep we discovered thatthe car was ailing from a brokenring and scored cylinder wall. That simply meant a new motor.Since we were going to se:I thecar in August we sought one wecould take to the U.S. We werethankful to be able to get thesame amount for the car now without a motor as we had hoped toget in August.

Record AttendanceRecently we have been blessedwith several new faces in ourcongregation here. With this helpwe reached 44 on Sunday April 19.

The following are new familiesthat have contacted us and saidthey planned to worship with us.

We know there are many other folkwho should be meeting with us buthave not yet made an effort tocome. We offer good Bible teaching, the Lord's Supper, and God'splan of salvation in a congregation that is free to set it's owndirection. Encourage those youknow in the Military to seek outother Christians.

Booklets CompletedWe have just finished two goodsize books. One titled: God'steaching concerning Prayer andthe other: The Holy Spirit. Thebook about prayer is a series ofradio sermons (7) which show theneed and importance of prayer. TheHoly Spirit book has eleven sermons in it. It is really important in a land that has many colddead churches on one hand andmany who have gone to the otherextreme of emotionalism. These

people tend to demand more fromthe Holy Spirit today than Scripture calls for. Therefore, a goodcommon sense study is in order.

ft'e are sorry that our neus le t terhas been delayed. Our last newsletter, ma i led to the printerJanuary 27th, is not ready byMay let. tie are interrupt ing ourwork here to get this news pre-\pared for you. Thank you for your \patience. j
