    ABLs business model for the Remittance Distribution Service is quite flexibledepending on the needs and requirements of our Correspondent Partners.Agreements for this relationship may be established based on the SBPs RebateRegime offer or on a Per Transaction Fee basis.

    CASH PICK-UP

    Cash Pick-up is a real-time, online, over the counter product, which allowsbeneficiaries to collect their inbound remittances from the nearest ABL Branch, allacross Pakistan.

    The beneficiary may access any of ABLs 820+ online branches. By simply presentingtheir original ID cards or passports as proof of identity and filling out a a very simple

    All Beneficiaries, whose mobile numbers are provided by the Remitter, are sent anSMS NOTICE advising them that their Remittance has arrived at ABL and they maycollect the same from any ABL Branch.

    Direct Credit to Account remittance service provides instant credit to beneficiaries intheir Account maintained with Allied Bank Limited, at any of our 810+ branchesacross Pakistan. These transactions will be processed in bulk for real-time credit to

    beneficiaries account.

    Allied Express Cheques facilitate third party beneficiaries [non-ABL accountholders]for remittance payments through the issuance of Allied Express Cheques or by

    transferring funds through the Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) on thevery same day of receipt.

    RTGS is a State Bank of Pakistan and PRI developed system, allowing all participatingbanks to send funds and instructions intended for their banks, via electronic fileexchange. The RTGS has drastically reduced the turnaround time for third-bankpayments.

    Facilitates beneficiaries maintaining accounts with banks other than ABL.

    In order to expedite the file upload and data processing for our valued partners, weare offering FTP functionality to all our Correspondents. We are already using thisfacility for our top 3 volume partners with excellent results.

    Under the FTP mechanism, ABL will automatically pick up data files from

    When using FTP mechanism, there will be no need to send files via email. Also,correspondents can create as many files as they wish during the day at intervals of

    their choosing. Using this process, transaction files provided by the correspondentswill be uploaded and processed within 1 hour of being available for upload.

    Benefits of FTP over EMAIL as mode of Communication

    No human intervention required in raw file upload; safer and more secure

    No access to anyone at either end of the file exchange mechanism

    Automated upload by ABL every 15 minutes; no chance of delays or slippage

    Files can be sent at Correspondents convenience between 12:00am and

    4:00pm Monday to Friday and between 12:00am and 12:00noon on Saturdays

    The service allows our Correspondents, Remitters and Beneficiaries to remotelycheck the status of their Remittance Transaction, from anywhere in the world

    To use the service, the Unique Reference Number provided by the InternationalCorrespondent is required
