Dear Parents,

Come join us this summer for fun and adventure through a large assortment of camps for children – ages 36 months through 7th grade. Age or grade level is the child’s age at the time of the camp or the grade just completed, whichever applies. Camps will alternate every two weeks between Vaughan Elementary (820 Cottonwood Dr.) and Cheatham Elementary (1501 Hopewell Dr.) and will run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Camps will be conducted by Allen ISD staff. Your child will need to bring a sack lunch and drink Monday-Thursday. Each Friday, we will have a pizza party: pizza, popsicles, and Capri Sun. Campers should be potty trained and a change of clothes will be necessary for children ages 36 months-5 years. Your child’s camp day will include a wonderful assortment of fun activities as well as outside recess. Camps for preschoolers include a 15 minute quiet time.

During the eight weeks of camp there is at least one cooking camp each week where the campers get to “eat” their projects. Please keep this in mind especially if your child has food allergies. School nurses are not on campus during summer camp. Please advise all camp teachers of any allergies.

Various camps throughout the summer allow for technology devices to come to camp (digital cameras, hand held game devices, etc.). Please remember that Allen ISD is not responsible for any damage or theft of student owned technology tools.

You do not have to be a resident of Allen or a student in Allen ISD to attend our camps!
