SQUASH CLUBGOLF CLUB

YOGA

Students will get group golf lessons. Golf club runs for

four weeks between May and June

Play squash at Northfield racquet club. Beginners or

experienced players are welcome! The commitment is

once a week on a day to be decided by club members

We will meet Thursday mornings at 7:30 until 8:30 am. The first day is

October 3rd.

PRO-LIFE CLUB

SOCIAL ACTION TEAM

Pro Life students will participate in the 40 Days for Life Vigil as well as

the March for Life Protest in Ottawa. Monthly meeting will be held on Mondays in the chapel

Learn about social justice and take action! We have at least one social

justice initiative per month. Meetings are after school on Wednesdays in

Room 311

SMH DRAMA PRODUCTIONSPlays or musicals performed by students for paying audiences. Rehearse for a few months (usually 2x per week and some weekends) and then present. Parts by audition. Technical positions available as well.First Semester Show – The Secret Garden directed by student Piotr Mrugacz, teacher supervisor Ms. PhillipsSears Festival – a student directed piece that will be presented as part of this festival (late first semester, early-mid second semester) – teacher supervisor – Mrs. DeMarcoSecond Semester Show – TBA, directed by Ms. Kirvan

PHYSICS CLUBSCIENCE CLUB

ART CLUB

Preparing for various events around southern Ontario focusing on scientific principles and skills. Club begins at the start of second

semester.

Preparing for Physics contests . Tuesday 3:10 – 4:10 pm in

room 333; first meeting on Oct 1. See Dr. C for more

information.

Creating art work, learning new art skills and advertising posters. Come to Room 218 on alternating Tues.

Students work at their own pace on bronze, silver and gold levels.

Activities involve Community Service, Skill Development, and an Adventure Journey. Meetings

are a few times a semester.

INVESTING CLUB SMH EDITION NEWSPAPER

DUKE OF EDINBURGHFundraise and provide service,

build character and develop leadership within the school,

and community. Every Thursday morning 8:30 in

Alumni Hall

TRIATHLON CLUB BLENDED BICYCLE REPAIR

MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB

Bicycles are refurbished from the city landfill and put back into the

community. No experience is required. Room 137 Thursday

Starts October

Open to relays or individuals. The

meetings will begin in May and the triathlon is

on the first Tues. of June.

Ride Ride Ride! Mondays and

Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30 pm.

Studying the Bible and its relevance in our school

community and beyond. Tuesday 3:10 – 4:10pm in

room 215

Seasonal excursions throughout the school year. Hiking, canoeing, and camping. Occasional trips

into the great Canadian Outdoors

Variety of board games from around the world are

introduced and played. Anyone is welcome – no board game experience

necessary. Rm. 210Thursday 3:05- 4:45pm
