For Kim, bowling is serious business. He rolls 100 games a week in order to
perect his game but it’s not just the repetition. “Isaac lives, eats and breathes
bowling,’’ said Cedar Crest coach Jolene Haller. “He studies where his eet are onthe lane and where his hands are. Sometimes, when he bowls a strike, he’ll change
his ball because he didn’t like where the ball hit the pins.’’ Besides having the top
average during the regular season, Kim, a senior, recorded a top-eight fnish a

Ne capped an outstanding our-year career by winning the PIAA Class AAAchampionship at 135 pounds. His 44-2 senior season gave him a career mark o 150-19, the Solanco career record and the second-best in the history o the L-LLeague. A three-time state tournament qualifer, he also placed ourth in 2010. Inhis career, Ne was a three-time L-L League champion, placing third in 2010. He
was a three-time Section Three AAA champion, placing second in 2008. He wonDistrict Three/South Central Regional titles in 2010 and 2011, placing third in 2009.Ne won back-to-back titles at the Escape the Rock Tournament in 2010 and 2011and was runner-up at this year’s Powerade Holiday Tournament. He will continuehis wrestling career at Lock Haven University.

Powered by Green, a Cleveland State University recruit who averaged an L-L League best 18.2
points per game this season, the Blue Streaks captured their frst L-L girls’ basketball crown
since 1997 and their second Section One title in the last three years. A dangerous penetrator and
3-point threat, Green fnished her career with a school-record 1,556 points, which surpassed the
previous record o 1,523 points set by Anita Plakans in 1986.

this season. Wenger, Catholic’s leading scorer and arguably the L-L’s best deender, led the Crusaders

second straight L-L title.

The Warriors’ senior sprinter, who earned an appointment to
the United States Naval Academy, capped his our-year career by
winning the PIAA Class AAA 50-yard reestyle in 20.35 seconds.
He set a state record by clocking a time o 20.18 in the preliminary
round. Bomberger ollowed that up with a second-place fnish in
the 100 reestyle in 44.57. Both are school records or Bomberger,
who hopes to become a pilot with the Navy.
