Creative despite the rainIt was supposed to be so beautiful ... parade, confetti and streamers. Unfortunately - due to the weather the organ-

izing committee can-celled Sunday parade. It did not prevent the par-ticipants of the festival from a constructive ap-proach to the situation. The Spaniards showed remarkable creativity. They simply combined four tables and six rolls of toilet paper to form a table to play table tennis. A group of boys from Italy also joined.

In the following halls of the Secondary School in Złocieniec, and more specifically one floor below, other countries

were preparing for their performances. When rainfall declined, some participants went for a walk, others rested after Saturday’s dance. De-spite the rain Germany did not lose their sense of humour and organ-ized their own parade. Hiding from the rain in a day – care room “Ray” in front of the church, countries had the oppor-

tunity to integrate. Dur-ing the extraordinary meeting of group lead-ers, they decided that at 6:30 p.m. despite the bad

weather we would meet at the Amphitheatre and officially open the festi-val. And the PARADE was moved to Friday 24/07/2015. The parade will start at 7.15p.m. at the Church of the As-sumption in Złocieniec and will end in the am-phitheatre.

Volunteers Ala, Ania and Wiktoria

Volunteers of European Peoples Festival flocked to the meeting at which we discussed all the im-portant matters related to the festival. Our help-ers came from different Polish cities, including Warsaw, Poznan, Szc-zecin, Drawsko Pomor-skie and Borne Sulinowo. There are also a few Pol-

Volunteers of EPFish speaking people from abroad. Now everybody knows how to take care of our guests. See you to-morrow at 9pm! All par-ticipants and volunteers wish you a nice time and have fun during the fes-tival!More pictures on EPF page !http://epf.zlocieniec.pl/

On 18th July at 9p.m. the concerts started to wel-come all foreign partic-ipants of the European Peoples Festival. Feisty girls from a band called Angel Song - in co-lourful, flounced skirts, with bows and tousled curls occurred in covers

At 9:30am we all gath-ered in the church, and took part in a Holly Mass. That was lead by Bishop Wiesław Spiewak. Leaders of all countries that are tak-ing part in the European Festival brought flags that represented their countries and Bibles that were written in their na-tional language. One of the great moments was

Breaking the walls of hostilitywhen everyone read the Gospel passage from a letter to the Ephesians. Another enjoyable mo-ment was when every-one danced and sang to the song „Jesteś Królem”. The church filled with a wave of happiness and a storm of applause and joy. The message of the Mass was the unity of all Christians.

Let’s meet Anthony from IrleandEuropean Peoples Festival is not only a huge organiza-tional undertaking but also the source of many emo-tions for both the participants and their guardians. PARADE HAS BEEN MOVED TO FRIDAY 24.07.2015.WE WILL START AT 7:15 pm AT THE CHURCH IN ZŁOCIENIEC.

Invitation to Euro VillageEuropean Village, where each of the festival coun-tries shows products and objects characteristic for their country, is full of life. A lot of interesting things happen there. At Belgian stand a contest in fast cutting of potato chips ( which then could be tasted) was held. Lux-embourg at its stand promoted the plush lion

mascot, which could be won by taking part in a game of throwing a dice – victorious digits were from 4 to 6.We invite everyone to see the exhibition stands of 13 European coun-tries. The Euro Village is in recreation and sport area in Złocieniec right next to the amphiteatre.
