Fils de Quadrophénio et Flora, tous deux entraînés par Daniel Béthouart, Scoop d’Yvel tient une place particulière dans le cœur de son mentor. Ayant rapidement montré d’évidents moyens, il se distingue dès son premier mee-ting d’hiver à Vincennes à l’âge de deux et trois ans. Progressivement, le bel alezan devient plus sûr en course et se retrouve très souvent placé de belles épreuves, jouant en particulier de malchance dans le Critérium Continental (5e en décembre 2010). En février 2011, il signe son premier Groupe I I I dans le Prix de Verdun. Sept mois plus tard, à l’issue d’une fin de course remarquable, il remporte le Critérium des 5 ans dans le temps record de 1’12’’7.

Having quickly given proof of his clear talent, he stood out from the rest in his first winter meeting at Vincennes as a two and three years old. The handsome chestnut gradually became more confident on the track and was often placed in ma-jor races, and had particularly bad luck in the Critérium Continental when 5th in December 2010. In February 2011, he won his first Group 3 race in the Prix de Verdun. Seven months later, after a remarkable finish, he took the Critérium des 5 Ans in a record time of 1’12”7.

Enseguida apuntó maneras y destacó en su primera cita de invierno en Vincennes, a los dos y tres años. Poco a poco, este hermoso alazán va ga-nando confianza en la carrera y consigue situarse en buenos puestos, a pe-sar de tener a veces mala suerte, como en el Critérium Continental (5° en diciembre de 2010). En febrero de 2011, firma su primer Grupo I I I en el Prix de Verdun. Siete meses después, tras una impresionante carrera, gana el Critérium de 5 años en un tiempo record: 1’12’’7.

coop d’Yvel – Franzose durch und durchScoop d’Yvel, Sohn von Quadrophénio und Flora, die beide von Daniel Béthouart trainiert wurden, hat im Herzen seines Mentors einen ganz be-sonderen Platz. Nachdem er bereits sehr früh sein Talent unter Beweis stell-te, hob er sich bereits bei seinen ersten Winterrennen in Vincennes im Alter von zwei und drei Jahren von der Konkurrenz ab. Nach und nach wird der schöne Fuchs im Rennen immer sicherer und landet immer häufiger auf den ersten Plätzen. Beim Critérium Continental hatte er besonders großes Pech (5. Platz im Dezember 2010). Im Februar 2011 gewann er zum ersten Mal in der Gruppe I I I beim Prix de Verdun. Sieben Monate später konnte er nach einem bemerkensweiten Rennen den Critérium des 5 ans in einer Rekordzeit von 1’12’’7 für sich entscheiden.

QuadrophenioUn pedigree atypique Rien ne pouvait laisser supposer, dans le pedigree de Quadrophénio, qu’il deviendrait chef de race. Bon cheval de province, son père Dekeel revendiquait tout de même la souche maternelle de la championne Dimitria, tout en étant inbred 3x4 sur l’américain Calumet Delco (sous les noms de Gaël et Quiproquo II). Sa souche maternelle était utile, sans plus, ne recelant aucun vrai champion. Compte tenu de ses courants de sang, Quadrophenio représentait cependant un intérêt particulier : il était très facile à croiser. Il a réussi notamment avec les filles issues de Kerjacques, mais aussi les mères par Workaholic et Florestan.

An unremarkable pedigree There was nothing in Quadrophenio’s pedigree to hint that he would become a chef-de-race. A solid provincial horse, his sire Dekeel did however boast the maternal family of the champion Dimitria, while being inbred 3x4 to the American Calumet Delco (under the names Gaël and Quiproquo II). His maternal breeding was helpful, but no more than that, giving no indication of harbouring a true champion. Given his bloodlines, Quadrophenio did however present a special interest: he was very easy to outcross. In particular, he was successful with the daughters of Kerjacques, as well as with dams by Workaholic and Florestan.

Su parte materna era útil, pero nada más, dado que no habían surgido de ella auténticos campeones. Seine Mutterlinie war zwar nützlich, wies jedoch keinen Champion auf. Doch aufgrund seiner Blutlinien war Quadrophenio von besonderem Interessere: er war sehr einfach einzukreuzen. Insbesondere mit den von Kerjacques stammenden Stuten, aber auch mit den Mutterstuten von Workaholic und Florestan war er erfolgreich.

Sur douze sorties sur ce site, il compte cinq victoires sur des distances allant de 2 150 mètres (Prix de la Méditerranée, Prix de New York) à 4 125 mètres (Prix de Buenos Aires cet été), auxquelles on peut en ajouter une, platonique dans le Prix de l’Atlantique 2010 où il devan-çait Quaker Jet avant d’être disqualifié pour ses allures. A Vincennes, Perlando a montré aussi son talent, en particulier cette saison dans le Prix René Ballière, dont il a pris la troisième place, en battant son chrono personnel (1’10’’7). Il est, en Belgique, le meilleur ambassa-deur du Trotteur Français.

Of his 12 outings here, he has notched up five victories over distances ranging from 2,150 metres (Prix de la Méditerranée and Prix de New York) to 4,125 metres (Prix de Buenos Aires this summer). He also won the Prix de l’Atlantique 2010, finishing ahead of Quaker Jet until being disqualified having committed a fault. Perlando has also proven his talent at Vincennes, especially this season in the Prix René Ballière, in which he took third place, beating his personal best (1:10.7). He is the best Trotteur Français in Belgium.

De sus 12 salidas en este recinto, 5 se saldaron con victorias de entre 2.150 me-tros (Prix de la Méditerranée, Prix de New York) y 4.125 metros (Prix de Buenos Aires este verano), a las que se podría añadir una sexta, platónica, en el Prix de l’Atlantique 2010 donde corría por delante de Quaker Jet an-tes de que le descalificasen. En Vincennes, Perlando también dejó claro su talento, más concretamente esta temporada en el Prix René Ballière, donde acabó tercero, batiendo su mejor tiempo (1’10’’7). Se puede afirmar que es el mejor embajador de los TF en Bélgica.

Von zwölf Rennen auf dieser Bahn konnte er fünf für sich ent-scheiden, über Entfernungen zwischen 2.150 m (Prix de la Méditerranée, Prix de New York) und 4.125 m (Prix de Buenos Aires diesen Sommer). Nicht zu vergessen der abgesprochene Sieg im Prix de l’Atlantique 2010, bei dem er zwar vor Quaker Jet lag, wegen schlechter Trabaktion jedoch disqualifiziert wurde. Auch in Vincennes stellte Perlando sein Talent unter Beweis, und zwar in dieser Saison insbesondere im Prix René Ballière, bei dem er nicht nur den dritten Platz belegte, sondern gleichzeitig seine persönliche Bestzeit (1’10’’7) unterbot. In Belgien gilt er als bestes Aushängeschild der TF.

Giant Cat, fils de championsNé dans la pourpre, issu du classique Quito de Talonay et de Pussy Cat, une lauréate du Prix de France, Giant Cat a affiché immédiatement sa classe sur les pistes, avant de connaître une interruption de carrière dès l’été de ses 3 ans. Revenu au mieux à l’été de ses 4 ans, il remporte à l’automne en Norvège le Grand Prix de l’U.E.T, réalisant ensuite une brillante année de 5 ans (Prix d’Europe, 3e Critérium des 5 Ans). Il imite sa mère dans le Prix de France, tout en continuant à briller sur la scène internationale. Entré au haras en 2000, il a donné d’emblée toute une pléiade de bons performers, dont Perlando est le leader, avec aussi Quilon du Chatelet, Rouge Vif, Risque Tout mais encore l’Italien… Italiano.

He then followed in his dam’s footsteps in the Prix de France, whilst continuing to excel on the international stage. Le sang français lui réussit bienVenu au cheval tout jeune par «les courses de petits champs », le belge Alphonse Vanberghen possède des trotteurs depuis une quarantaine d’années. Dès ses débuts, il a fait confiance aux origines françaises, en achetant quelques juments dans de très grands élevages. Le propriétaire-éleveur n’a jamais eu à regretter ce choix. French blood suits him wellAlphonse Vanberghen began his life with horses at a very young age, and the Belgian has now owned trotters for the past 40 years. From the beginning, he put his trust in French bloodlines, buying several well bred mares. The owner/breeder has never had cause to doubt his choice. Epalio, Fadalio, Orlando II, Hiosco du Vivier, Jiosco du Vivier and the classic Jalencia (Prix de l’Etoile) have all shone one after the other at Vincennes, paving the way for Perlando, whose second dam was acquired from Henri Levesque’s stables. At the age of 61, Alphonse Vanberghen has become the biggest promoter of the virtues of the TF in Belgium.

Involucrado en el mundo del caballo desde muy joven, gracias a las “carreras en campos pequeños”, el belga Alphonse Vanberghen tiene trotones desde hace cuatro décadas. Siempre confió en los ejemplares franceses y compró varias yeguas en criaderos de renombre. Epalio, Fadalio, Orlando II, Hiosco du Vivier, Jiosco du Vivier, la clásica Jalencia (Prix de l’Etoile) han brillado uno tras otro en Vincennes antes que Perlando, cuya segunda madre nació en el criadero de Henri Levesque. A sus 61 años, Alphonse Vanberghen se ha convertido en el mejor promotor del TF, en el país vecino a Francia.

Mit französischem Blut erfolgreichDer Belgier Alphonse Vanberghen, der schon mit dem Pferdesport in Berührung kam, besitzt seit rund vierzig Jahren Traber. Von Anfang an vertraute er auf Pferde französischen Ursprungs und kaufte mehrere Stuten aus bekannten Züchtungen. Der Züchter/Besitzer sollte diese Wahl nie bereuen. Der Reihe nach brillierten Epalio, Fadalio, Orlando II, Hiosco du Vivier, Jiosco du Vivier sowie Jalencia (Prix de l’Etoile) in Vincennes, gefolgt von Perlando, dessen zweite Mutter aus der Züchtung von Henri Levesque stammt. Im Alter von 61 Jahren vertritt Alphonse Vanberghen als Belgier im Ausland somit die Tugenden TF am besten.
