F.E.A.R. FAILING EVERYONE AROUND ME REPEATEDLY

Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, says, "every adversity, every failure and

every heartache carries with it the seed of an equivalent or a greater benefit."

The crippling effects of fear are dangerous. Often when an animal becomes fearful

of a predator or its surroundings, its body freezes and their sense of awareness becomes

heightened. You have been working hard all your life to put your family in a position to

become prosperous, comfortable, and live the good life. You have chosen to makestrategic decisions that you have placed you in the moment you are in right now. If I were

to ask you what gave you so much courage to do it what would you say? I mean what

gave you the courage after all of the no's, after all of the put-downs and the can't do's.

Imagine as if you were scaling the incredible Mount Everest. Youre making steady

progress as you pursue the apex of the mountain. But on the other side, there is also

someone else climbing. Very little progress is being made. They are too focused on the

distance between where they came from instead of where they are going. They are still

worried about being three feet away from their comfort level. Theyre s till worried about

what the family would think if she pursued that degree when she has a family to take care

of. Still fearing the resentment and anguish of others even though she has a talent others

    dream of having.

Fear has frozen her on the mountain of abundance and success, and if she is not careful

she will fall victim to her fear, landing on life's floor, crippled broken, and broke. You dont

want to end up like this do you?

No one wakes up and says I will fail at life because of my FEAR! Fear does give us

one great thing in life. Natural feedback! You have to work on your skills to sharpen the.

Dont see failure or rejection as something incredibly negative that might end your life if it

strikes. Redefine it in your mind to lessen the negative emotional impact and the fear. See

failure simply as feedback on what you need to improve on. Listen to the advice the

failure gives you and you will improve. Moreover, success will come.

Remember when you first started riding your bike and you fell to the ground. The

fall may have been painful and embarrassing but you got back on and rode again, thistime a little further. Then you fell again, and that fear and doubt that you couldn't do it

started talking to you, but you got back on and eventually you never got back off. Life is

the same way. We may start out with the fear of the unknown, but it is up to us to get on

the bike, to get on the ladder and climb, and start from scratch learning and breaking the

hold of fear through our knowledge and experience. Fear is created through ignorance of

consequences, when you know what can happen in a healthy respect, your fear is much

    lessened.

Pis for PURPOSEThis is the day that the Lord hath made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. What an honor it is to

able to share words of encouragement on how to understand and move toward the God-given purpose

your life. Purpose is defined as something set up as an object or end to be attained (reache

determination. It is not only doing what you love, but loving what you do.

As children begin to mature in their teen years, they begin searching on their own for mean

in life, a purpose for living, or something that makes their life worth living. Without purpose, life becom

motion without meaning, founded upon whatever the culture offers up as the latest material possession

activity to do. Author Rick Warren states, Between this day and the next you will give your life

something. The decision on what that will be will shape your destiny.

Psalm 138:8 states, The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me, and all of Gods thoug

toward you are good {Jeremiah 29:11}. A good place to begin the search for purpose is to understand t

purpose is woven into every strand of the fabric of our lives. Remember, purpose = passion. It has to

with God-given talents {what are you gifted or good at?}, the experiences in your life, and those thi

which give a person "goose bumps" or a tear to their eye when they think about them {What excites y

and brings you joy in doing?}. Moreover, purpose has to do with using those talents to serve God a

others, not one's self. You can also ask yourself, "What's the one thing that I do better than other

{Those nudges you have received in your spirit}. This can clue you in to your God-given purpose.

One things for sure, the devil does NOT want you to fulfill your God -given purpose a

potential. But if its your hearts desire to become all that God created you to be, and to accomplish

the things He prepared for you in advance, please know that He will equip you with everything you n

to succeed! Noted author Marianne Williamson quotes, Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequ

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We were born to make manifest the glory

God that is within us. Its not just in some of us; its in everyone. As my former pastor, the Honora

The Testimony of a Fighter ~ Jessica Prewitt

I can definitely say the Lord always had my best interest at heart more than I did, because there were days whe

could care less about anything! Through my past couple years of life I have conquered a tremendous amount of trials a

tribulations. Through every one of them I am testifying that I made it past every bit of negativity that was thrown in

    direction.

Without a father emotionally and the combination of my school struggles, I realized what an impact it had on my

My bad habits started in the fourth grade when I didnt complete homework that was given to me and began to follow me

my high school years. I wouldn't say I am proud of this but I continue to work hard to get rid of these types of behaviors. Evday was a struggle for me, not only in school but at home also. Living without two parents in one home took a toll on me

not having them in the home was often worse. As years went on my school work and bad habits began to decline, yes I s

habits but with wonderful family & determined mentors I have conquered those habits and moved forward to each gra

successfully! When high school got harder it seemed I started to slack even more but GOD knew exactly how to whip my b

back into shape so I could be successful in life! I went from being constantly told I would not graduate on time, depressed, a

struggling with grades to passing each grade one after another! But even with success the devil still tries to bring you do

somehow and God is still there by your side! I was tested big time during my senior year, this year, from going to a priv

school for my first four years to attending a public school three months before graduation. But it was like deja vu becaus

wanted to go to a public school so bad that when I got there it felt out of my ordinary. There were plenty of disadvantage

going into graduation at a new school! Even with all my disadvantages God knew what he was doing, I had enough cred

from my private school that I only needed one more and I would be set to graduate. Later on I was tested again! I hadn't b

moving in the pace I should have to get my work done and was told three weeks before graduation that I wouldn't be able

walk. Of course with this news I was devastated. Once again God was there to rescue me and with prayers from family, ment

and friends on June 6, 2011, I walked across the stage and was handed my diploma!

So yes I've had some trouble but I was able to stomp over those troubles and graduate on time! Having difficulty

home, at school, and dealing with my personal problems, I announce that I completed the task God had in store for me.

course I was tested throughout my life, and as you can tell I did win this portion of the battle! Listening to "This too shall pa

and "In the midst of it all" by Yolanda Adams was a major part of keeping my head on straight to continue each day! I will

attending college and will conquer whatever is thrown at me with my father's help! I definitely encourage anyone wh

struggling to NEVER give up because as God is my witness I can testify to say there is light at the end of the tunnel!
