ASMEF has one of the largest facilities in UAE strategically located in the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi 2 (ICAD II). Since its inauguration in 2009, the facility has gone through various

upgrades of its infrastructure and Human Resources to efficiently cater for its diversified businesses. The facility’s unique location provides a direct access to the offshore fields as it enjoys a 545 meters open water front that is considered as the closest to Abu Dhabi fields. It is also located at a close proximity to the onshore fields with no road restrictions, making it a prime choice for Abu Dhabi onshore customers.

Oil & GasThe Oil & Gas Division is accredited by International certifying bodies such as ASME API and ISO as per the highest industry standards and requirements.

It specializes in a large range of services and maintains a dedicated and fully qualified team of Design Engineers, Planners, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE and Production Teams covering all aspects of the Oil & Gas industry.

The Oil & Gas division offers modern up-to-date facilities incorporating the newest machines and technologies within the industry. It has covered workshops for machining and pipeworks, a dedicated area for large structures such as pressure vessels/static equipment, onshore & offshore process skids and modules and power supply skids (e-houses). The facility’s water front provides a logistical advantage for direct transport for the offshore and international clients. The division has completed several prestigious projects and the facility has been qualified for many of its provided services with major oil companies and various operators such as ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, ADCO and GASCO to name a few. Ship Building and Ship RepairThe Ship New Build Division offers a range of interdisciplinary services for its new build projects such as Naval Architect, Marine and Project Management. Over the years the new build division has carried out a wide range of projects, from major conversions to building different types of vessels from cargo barges, boats (steel & aluminium) to sophisticated DP vessels and cable lay ships.

The one stop shop aims to serving all business units within the ASMEF yard and external clients for specialized services. It offers repairs and refurbishments of pumps, machining services, installation, commissioning, calibration and such similar other services for different types of rotary equipment, control valves, motors and instruments, all under one roof providing great advantage to the clients in terms of saving cost and time.
