Basic definition

marbles in a bag. One is selected at random. What is the probability of getting

Geometric example: A 30” x 40” rectangular cork board has 20 circles

with a radius of 2” attached to it. The circles are evenly distributed among 4 different colors: red, yellow, green and blue. If Jim throws a dart at the board and hits the board, what is the probability that he will hit a red circle?
