• Alexander was the Son of Macedonian King Philip II, becomes king after his assassination, age 20

• Raised in Athens and educated by Aristotle• We was well loved by his subjects and was a

great leader• Was extremely ambitious and had a grand

plan for the future of Greece

Alexander’s Plan?

• Alexander’s goal is to conquer the Persian Empire and more

• Alexander will take his Greek Culture with him as he conquers the Ancient World

• Alexander will use his great Leadership and powerful army to conquer is a short period of time

Alex’s Empire• Alex will

invade and Defeat massive Persian Armies

• As we conquers each country Alexander will gather the great cultural feats and take them

Were does it all go wrong?

• After defeating Persia, Alexander will continue west into Afghanistan and India.

• However, Alex will get more then he can handle in Afghanistan and will be defeated after a long tribal war.

• He will then grow sick a die at age 32• Like Alexander before England (1870) and Russia

(1980s) will also fail to conqueror Afghanistan. • Where does this leave the U.S?
