Rehabilitation originates from the Latin word habilis «ability» rehabilis «restorativehabilis – «ability», rehabilis – «restorative
abilities».
Rehabilitation represents the set ofpmeasures directed at providing thepersons with affected functions (as a resultpersons with affected functions (as a resultof diseases, traumas and congenitaldefects) with adaptation to new lifedefects) with adaptation to new lifecircumstances in a society where they live.

The impact of the SCENAR therapy on development of disease and oxidative stress process was studied in injured persons with compression trauma complicatedinjured persons with compression trauma complicated with acute renal insufficiency, being treated in the intensive care and reanimation chambers of the department of gravitational blood surgery, sorbtion therapy and acute hemodialysis of the Municipal
h i l f R D iemergency hospital of Rostov-on-Don city.
Results of the clinically-laboratory investigationconducted in 77 patients being treated incardiology departments of Rostov-on-Don forthe period from 2000 to 2004 were studied, withthe purpose of treatment algorithm optimizationof the patients with acute myocardial infarctionwith ST-segment elevation, including theSCENAR therapy application.

Multi-aspect treatment of transcutaneouselectrostimulation using the SCENAR series devices incomplex treatment of the different pathological conditionsand diseases has proved it’s efficacy in oxidative stressand diseases has proved it s efficacy in oxidative stressalleviation and antioxidative defense stimulation.
In line with this, the higher the excessive activation offree-radical oxidation reactions, the lower the oxidationfree radical oxidation reactions, the lower the oxidationproduct accumulation.
