We will continue to keep on the lookout for possible grant applications that will assist us with commencing our Nature Playgroundproject. Thank you again to Chris for her time regarding this also. LOTE 2018 I am excited to announce that we will be offering Indigenous Languages in 2018. The students got to meet Bec Crawley, their new LOTE teacher on Monday when she visited the school. Bec works at Bright P-12 College teaching Indigenous Languages and a range of humanities subjects. Bec still works closely with an organisation in the Northern Terri- tory and has a wealth or knowledge, resources and local contacts. We are excited to have her join our school. I am certain the children will love Indigenous languages and cultural studies next year. Watering Roster Thank you to those families who have offered to water our garden over the break. It is much appreciat- ed. I have placed a container full of hose fittings and a brass tap key inside the greenhouse so that you have access to eve- rything. Please just ensure it goes back there for the next family to use. If you do happen to be driving past and have 5 minutes to spare, an extra water during those hot days wont hurt at all. I would like to take this opportunity to say a sincere thank you to everyone in the school community for the way that you have accepted me, supported me and encouraged me over the past 6 months. I feel very lucky to work with your children and to be a part of their journeys as learners and growing as little people. I am looking forward to 2018 and everything that lies ahead for us. I really hope that your Christmas break is filled with time with family, friends, relaxing and making memories doing the things that you enjoy most. I am excited to see you all return in the new year after a safe and relaxing break. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
