Welcome to our Spring term Newsletter. As we produce an
Autumn and Summer Newsletter we wanted to add this to our
communication calendar so that parents and carers have the
opportunity to catch up on what we are doing on a termly
basis. Please look out for articles on the recent New York tr ip
and an article from Year 10 student Jack Dil ly. Jack is
involved in some humanitarian work in Uganda and he needs
our help!
Whilst this has been another busy term we have had the
additional challenge of the weather and had to close for two
days on Thursday 1 March and Friday 2 March. Although we
had another snowfall on Sunday 18 March we were able to
open as normal on Monday 19 March. However the conditions were quite challenging and
it was 'touch and go' as to whether we would manage to open. Some other schools locally
had to close on that day as well as some partial closures. Individual sites have their own
challenges and we were fortunate to have been able to overcome them this t ime. My
thanks go to the site team here and all the other staff who contributed to us being able to
open as the journey in to school was not easy for many.
It has been a pleasure to be issuing cert if icates for our book of excellence and the
students who have received them have been extremely enthusiastic about this new award.
I am sure this wil l become an embedded reward for our students’ hard endeavours.
We sadly say goodbye to a small number of staff at the end of this term. Mr Mountain
(Assistant Headteacher and Head of Maths) is leaving us to take up a role with an on-l ine
learning platform. He has been part of the leadership team here for a number of years and
we wish him well for the future. Our Mathematics Leading Practit ioner, Mr Griff iths, wil l be
taking over the role of Head of Maths.
We also say goodbye to Mrs Horne (LSA) and Dr Coll ins from the Science Department who
has been an LSA, trainee and is now a qualif ied teacher so we wish her all the best.
Joining us are:
Mrs Storey (PE)
Mr Gausden (English)
Mrs Leedham (Head of Drama)
Mrs Ricci (Maths)

We look forward to working with our new colleagues next term.
During this term we have also appointed Miss Kent as permanent Curriculum Leader for
Science and Miss Payne as permanent Curriculum Leader for PE. Both of these
appointments fol lowed a competit ive recruitment procedure. Congratulations to them both.
Aldworth School Peer Mentors
Our peer mentors work to support other students within the school. They are a committed
group of students and were each awarded a special certif icate in recognition of their
contribution to our community. They are pictured below receiving their cert if icates last
week.
As we approach the Easter holiday period may I thank you for your continued support and
hope that you have some quality t ime with your family and fr iends.
Best wishes,
Denis McCabe, Headteacher

Messages from the Deputy Headteachers Rock Challenge
Are you in control of your Destiny?
That was the question 62 Aldworth students asked the Southampton O2 Guildhall on
Monday 19 February 2018. This was the theme for this year’s Rock Challenge
performance.
Students and teachers have
been developing the theme and
c h o r e o g r a p h y i d e a s s i n c e
September. The theme explores
the inf luence that the law,
media, polit ics and big business
corporations have on students
as they make their way through
l ife. Many of us are steered by pressures to do things we may not really want to do. But
the Aldworth ‘Anti-establishment Heroes’ prevail , spreading hope, joy and love and free
our young people to take control of their own destiny.
It was a fantastic day for al l involved. The students were bri l l iant and deserve high praise
for their superb attitude throughout the day. The school also managed to gain awards for
‘Best Set Crew’ and ‘Best Soundtrack’.
Thanks must go to the students for their long hours of dedication and practice and Mrs
McAuliffe who was the driving force behind the theme, choreography, costume and
performance. Thanks also to the staff whose efforts enable the school to run this large
performance every year. They all gave their t ime either on the day or during the lead up to
the show, so thank you, Mr Attridge; Mrs Seaward; Mr Cole; Mr Johnstone; Miss Lester and
Mrs Reddy. Special thanks also go to Mr
O’Shea who created the excellent set and
props and Mrs Richards for al l the admin
support.
Performing in front of a l ive and packed
audience is a real test of character, and I
was very proud of the fantastic show put
on by our students. Well done everyone!

I have been highlighting to students how they can get the best value from the time they
spend studying. The f irst stage is to understand the subject matter. This is a partnership
between the teacher and student. The second stage is for the student to condense their
learning. This might be through making
revision notes, mind maps or cue cards.
The third step is for the student to
memorise their condensed information.
Finally, in order for the information to go
into the ‘long term memory’, they need to
regularly review their learning.
Stages one and two happen mainly at
school. To be really successful, students
should do stages three and four mainly at
home. To help with this the school provides
a range of online resources. If you have a
look on our school website under
‘Students’, ‘Online Learning’ you can see
the various learning tools in which we have
invested. There are instructions on how to
log on to each one.
Some of these websites are mainly for the
GCSE years, but the stages of learning I
have outl ined above are relevant to al l year
groups. With your support, we encourage
s t u d e n t s t o u n d e r s t a n d , c o n d e n s e ,
memorise and review as a matter of routine
early in their school careers. This is an
effective habit to get in to and wil l make a
big difference to their progress over t ime. I
certainly wish someone had explained this
to me when I was at school!
Thank you for your ongoing support and I
wish you a good Easter break.

It has been a very busy term for the governing body. The Education and Strategic Planning
committee have been working with senior leaders to consider school data in some depth.
The group have been considering the progress and attainment of many groups of students,
against targets. There have been wide ranging discussions on most areas of the
curriculum, alongside some in depth exploration of the core subjects. Governors have
been meeting with key middle leaders, who are focussed on improving teaching and
learning by using a wide variety of skil ls.
It has been a key drive this year to uti l ise the range of talent we are fortunate enough to
have at our disposal within our staff, to ensure that all in the wider staff body are able to
access these skil ls to improve their own practice. The level of enthusiasm to share and
support others has been really encouraging.
The Finance and General Purposes committee have been working closely with senior
leaders, to ensure the money that comes into school is used appropriately to improve the
outcomes for our students. It is not news that school budgets are under pressure which is
l ikely to continue.
The committee has been considering recommendations from the school council on changes
and improvements to the school site. Governors engage with students as often as
possible, either through the medium of the student council or more wider opportunit ies to
meet when we are in school. Student voice, in whichever form it takes, is important to us
and wil l always be so.
In ful l governing body meetings we have also been engaging with school data at key points
in the year, discussing the impact of teaching and learning triads in greater depth. We
have planned our monitoring visits into school, al igned with school improvement targets,
for the coming term. Not forgetting some wider considerations, around behaviour and
safeguarding. We expect next term to be equally as busy as we continue to involve
ourselves in school improvement and to work together with senior leaders to improve the
outcomes for our students.
On behalf of the governing body, I
wish you all a peaceful and happy
Easter break.

Art Therapy
Art Therapy Club is a Student Leadership Club run
every Friday after school. Staff involved in
faci l itating the club are Miss Pearce from Learning
Support and Mrs Linsell , Teacher of Art and
Design.
The aims for the sessions are for
students from all year groups to be
able to drop in and engage
therapeutically with an assortment of
visual media. Activit ies are designed
to aid relaxation and develop social
confidence. The club is a great way
for students to develop awareness
and to f ind ways to effectively
manage their emotions and feelings.
We have recently been working with
totem animals, mandalas and wil l be
moving onto a space project!

On Monday 26 February, History students from Year
11 went to watch The Doctors Show at The Tivoli
Theatre in Wimborne, Bournemouth. The play
presented the major discoveries and events
throughout the history of medicine, brought to l i fe the
doctors and scientists that improved medical
knowledge and featured GCSE workshop sessions lead
by a historian.
As we entered the theatre, we were given workbooks
to use within the grade booster sessions. The
booklets contain insight on all the questions that wil l
appear on the Health and the People exam and
featured two example answers to each question. The
answers all had different levels and marks, with one
being a higher
grade than the other. Each question also provided us
with helpful t ips, so we know the best way to word
and time our answers.
The play looked at the accomplishments of the
historical f igures we need to know about from the
middle ages up unti l present day in a comical and
informative way. It was split up into four parts, with
t i m e i n
between for
us to assess
the factors
for change within the discoveries of people l ike
Louis Pasteur and Alexander Fleming.
The trip was a success among the students and
teachers and wil l hopefully pay off in our summer
exam!

Mad Hair Day
On Friday 2 February, a team of
Year 10 students from Aldworth
School supported St Michael’s
Hospice Mad Hair Day by taking part
in two school assemblies at
Wink lebury In fant and Jun ior
Schools.
Mad Hair Day is a fun campaign
where schools and hairdressers
across Hampshire can let their hair down all in the name of charity.
The aim of the assemblies was to give the children a few ideas on how to style their own
hair on Mad Hair Day on Friday 9 February. Each school had 6 ‘volunteers’ and the
Aldworth students worked both individually
and in pairs to ‘style’ their volunteers hair.
The students worked really well under a bit
of pressure as they only had about 10
minutes to work their magic, which is not a
long t ime to create a masterpiece.
There was a lot of back combing and bands
being used along with feathers, pipe cleaners and ribbon. There was also coloured hair
spray and glitter gel used to create unique and fun hairstyles.
While all this was happening the audience were able to look on and shout out
encouragement and sing along to
the music being played.
A l l the chi ldren enjoyed the
assembly and on speaking to the

Monday 12 February: We started the day by meeting at school at 7.00am ready to leave at
8.00am. We travelled to Heathrow by coach and went through security and then waited in
the terminal for our aeroplane to be ready for us. We then had an eight-hour f l ight, which
was full of entertaining moments. After the extremely long fl ight, we landed and collected
our stuff ready for our coach to pick us up. We then travelled to our hotel ready for our
incredible experience in New York.
As soon as we got there, we dropped off our stuff and went
searching for the Empire State Building. We were so excited!
When we got up to the top the views were amazing. We were
extremely tired and hungry, so afterwards we had our very
f irst meal in New York! We all went to a pizza place and
enjoyed the huge pizzas. We went back to the hotel and
thoroughly enjoyed our f irst sleep in New York.
The next day was a very long and emotional day but we all
sti l l enjoyed it a lot. After having breakfast in a quaint café,
we travelled by subway to the famous Statue of Liberty. It
was our first t ime on the subway but we managed to get on
the right train instead of going in completely the wrong direction ( luckily). We walked the
rest of the way from the subway to the Statue of Liberty. We then had to wait in a long
queue for a ferry boat ride to Liberty Island. There we had an hour by ourselves to take
pictures of the famous New York skyl ine and Lady Liberty herself. We did not have time to
travel to El l is Island, however, we got the opportunity on the ferry back to take photos. We
also went to the 9/11 memorial and museum and a lot of people found it very emotional.
We found out facts about the day that happened and when it happened.

We ate at Planet Hollywood on the first night,
i t was very nice and we had conversations with
the waiter about what words they say
differently. Once we had eaten dinner we went
back to the hotel and had a well -deserved
sleep after over 20,000 steps.
On the Wednesday we woke up and went to
breakfast and found out that we would have a
whole morning of shopping. We had an hour in
the hotel before we went to the Manhattan
mall and there were a lot of different shops
l ike Sephora and JC Penny’s. There was a
Target across the road and a lot of people
wanted to go in it . People brought a lot of
American sweets and drinks. Once we had
finished in Target we split into 3 different
groups and went to different shops. Mrs
Poulton’s group went into the bigger Sephora
which was next to Target, Mr Butcher’s group went to Footlocker and Miss Kemp’s group
went to Lush, a l itt le gift shop and other requested hotspots and then we met Mrs
Poulton’s group in Macy’s and had McDonalds in there. Once we had finished in Macy’s we
went back to the hotel because our feet were in so much pain.
We walked to the dance theatre and were taught a dance from the musical Wicked by one
of the cast members from Wicked. When we had finished we had to wait a l itt le bit before
we could go to the Hard Rock Café so we waited in Times Square and watched the world go
by. We then went into the Hard Rock Café for dinner and there was a worker that was
dancing and a lot of us joined in. We then had time to ki l l before we went to see Wicked
but it turned out we had to go to a different place than we thought so we rushed to the
theatre and luckily got there on t ime. We watched the show and when we got outside it was
raining so we walked very quickly back to the hotel which was about a 10-minute walk.
On the Thursday we were very sad because it was the day that we were leaving New York.
We walked to breakfast and then had an hour to pack our bags before we got on the coach
to do a 3-hour TV and movie site tour. We stopped off at the Washington Square Arch and
we got to see the ‘Friends’ apartment block and the theatre that Joey ‘performed’ in. We
finished the tour and went for lunch at Wendy’s. We got back on the coach and travelled to
the airport and got everything sorted before we got on the plane to go home.

Lego Club Students attending Lego Club continue to enjoy taking part in a range of activit ies
including building their own models and completing set challenges where students have
ten minutes to create anything from a Lego pizza to building their dream playground.
Students also enjoy looking at our selection of Lego books and comics as well . Before
Christmas, Lego Club held their own Christmas party when students had the chance to
play a variety of Lego themed party games, watch Lego animations on the big screen and
enjoy party food. Lots of fun was had
by all and everyone got to take a small
gift home. Lego Club students have
also been very lucky recipients of a
wonderful Lego display which was
kindly donated to them by Toys R Us
which wil l be on display in the Library
shortly. Lego club continues to run
every Monday in Room B1.5 we look
forward to seeing more students there
soon.

New York Trip A fantastic t ime was had by al l , exhausting but a great experience. We walked over
62,000 steps in 2 ½ days so I think we even came back a l itt le bit physically f itter than we
went.
The students that came on the trip were a great credit to Aldworth as always and it was a
pleasure to lead the tr ip for them. I would also l ike to thank the other two members of
staff, Mrs Poulton and Mr Butcher who accompanied me on the trip. It is certainly one to
remember.

Charity Club Charity Club have continued to raise lots of money for a range of charit ies by helping out at
and running a number of charitable events themselves.
In the run up to Christmas, Charity Club students helped raise £250.54 for the ‘Make a
Wish Foundation’ by holding a Christmas Jumper day and Christmas Craft afternoon when
students could make cards, decorations and edible gifts to take home with them. The
students also had a lot of fun by manning the refreshments stand at the School Christmas
Concert when Charity Club students served up mince pies, teas and coffees to the general
public. Nearly £50 was raised from this event alone!
In January, Charity Club also held a ‘f i lm afternoon’ in order to raise money for the Brain
Tumour Research Fund. The students took a full role in the planning, preparation and the
delivery of the event by choosing the f i lm, producing an event poster and leaflets and
making a PowerPoint presentation in order to raise awareness of the charity to both staff
and students. During the f i lm afternoon the students ran the tuck shop and collected the
money from all those who attended.
Charity Club have got lots of excit ing plans for the remainder of the school year including
organising events for Sports Relief 2018, the RNLI and the Help For Heroes charity. We
hold our sessions every Tuesday after school in the Library and it is open to any student
who wishes to attend and make a difference.

Arts University Bournemouth On Friday 9 February we took a large
group of Year 9 students out for a day
to The Arts University Bournemouth
(AUB).
We began the activit ies with a drawing
workshop run by Deano, the Outreach
Co-ordinator and two undergraduate
students. The activit ies really got us
thinking creatively and out of our
comfort zones by drawing with our
teeth, holding a pencil in our 'other'
hand, sketching from a spoken story
and drawing over our shoulders! The
highlight must have been our negative
space drawings of Liam, Amber and
Holl ie who modelled really tricky poses
for us all to capture.
Ha l f way th rough the d raw ing
workshop, we were taken on a tour of
the university campus. We got to see
the scale of the working areas and all
of the amazing facil it ies that this specialist establishment has to offer. After my
persuasion, we got a special insight into the working area of the 'model making'
undergraduates. These students create models for f i lm, television and media and the
university has an extremely high recruitment rate for graduates entering the world of
screen and cinema.
Our students worked incredibly well and were real ambassadors of the school. At lunch
they even got to eat in the student canteen and see the full student experience,
integrating into the hustle and bustle of student l i fe.
It was a real honour to take our students there. They really gained so much from the
experience and I know that AUB wil l have gained a few future students and opened up new
horizons. We look forward to more events l ike these in the future.

STEM club runs every Tuesday from 3.00pm to
4.00pm and challenges students to solve problems
within the subjects of Science, Technology,
Engineering and Maths. This year students have
already investigated the engineering behind paper
aeroplanes and discovered the best style and
material. They thought about how aircraft might take
off from an aircraft carrier and made their own
versions of an aircraft launcher for the paper
aeroplanes.
They have also used the Lego Mindstorms
robots to recreate a ‘Robot Wars’ style
battle. This involved students building and
programming the robots to respond to
different situations in order to win the
battle. Students were incredibly creative
with their ideas and the robots put up a
good fight.
Students are current ly working on
designing and making an earthquake-proof
structure. They have to work within a
variety of constraints including the size of the structure and materials that they can use.
Each f loor has to hold a set weight and then be subjected to shaking to replicate an
earthquake.
STEM activit ies are also available to the whole
school and last year we entered a team for Teen
Tech. We have applied for a team to attend this
year and the event wil l be held in June. Letters
wil l go out nearer the t ime for anyone interested
in attending. We are also working with South
Western Railway to encourage women into
engineering and there wil l be an opportunity in
May for some Year 8 girls to take part in a
workshop in school run by the company.

On Thursday 15 March we took 12 Year 8 students to a Rotary Club Stem Competit ion. The
students were put into three groups and were instructed to build something that would
vert ically shoot up a ball through a basketball hoop and have it land safely back
down. The students all worked fantastically and they were al l able to shoot their balls up
to great distances. Unfortunately, we did not win but the students had a great t ime and
were able to use team work and resourcefulness to create amazing results.

My name is Jack Di l ly and I am a student at A ldworth in Year 10.
I am also a Dragon Explorer and a Young Leader for a local Cub group in the Basingstoke East Distr ict and
I have been lucky enough to have been selected to be part of a cont ingent of 25 UK Explorer scouts &
leaders travel l ing to Uganda in August 2019 to undertake a var iety of char i table pro jects & jo int act iv i t ies
with the local scouts. When I found out about the tr ip and the fantast ic opportunit ies and exper iences i t
would offer I was very keen to go and be part of the expedit ion to cont inue the good work that has already
been carr ied out on previous occasions.
A l though al l Scouts pay for their own expedit ion fees, we are a lso work ing hard to ra ise funds to pay for
a l l the equipment and suppl ies needed for char i ty projects and th is is where I am asking for your help.
We wi l l be work ing in conjunct ion with the local scout groups of Masindi in a number of ways:
Provid ing safe water
Fundrais ing for the money to protect local natural water spr ings. Each spr ing only costs £1500 (which is
very l i t t le for hundreds of people to have c lean disease free water for generat ions to come). The local
area is very rural and one spr ing can supply around 300 – 500 people with their only source of water .
Improvement and re-decorat ion of a Ugandan school
Pr imary educat ion is now free for a l l chi ldren in Uganda, but the c lassrooms are crowded with an average
of 100+ pupi ls to one teacher in each c lassroom. The school bui ld ings are very basic with bare wal ls , o ld
wooden school benches and with the only l ight source coming from the windows the c lassrooms can be
dark and dul l . We wi l l carry out the work ourselves to enhance the learning environments and ref lect
l ight to make the spaces br ighter.
Provid ing school and hospita l equipment and suppl ies
The cont ingent a lso takes out g i f t i tems for the local schools and hospita l , such as chalk, footbal ls,
s imple l ightweight games ( fr isbees, tennis bal ls) , penci ls , sharpeners and coloured penci ls for the school
and knitted jumpers, mosquito nets, kni t ted blankets for the new born babies in the hospital p lus many
other s imple th ings that wi l l improve happiness in both educat ion and health.
Organis ing act iv i t ies with local Scouts
We wi l l be work ing alongside the local Scout groups to learn about each others’ scout ing cul tures, learn
new ski l ls and share act iv i t ies. We wi l l a lso provide act iv i ty badges for a l l the local scouts who take part
in the act iv i t ies. Badges are a luxury that the local scouts do not have the pleasure of receiv ing due to
the costs involved.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Aldworth are hoping to hold a non-school uni form day, so our students wi l l be able to help by donat ing
just £1.00. The date wi l l be conf i rmed next term. You can help those less fortunate than us and make a
huge di f ference to many l ives.
I f you wish to donate more you can do so v ia my mydonate page at

Al l contr ibut ions wi l l go towards water wel ls/mosquito nets or other potent ia l ly l ife changing equipment.

Voice In A Million On Thursday 15 March 2018, 23 of our students (pictured) took part in Voice in a Mil l ion
(VIAM) – the choir that makes a difference.
VIAM is a commercial organisation which helps raise awareness of children in care around
the world. The show acts as a platform to encourage others to consider adoption or
fostering as a l i fe choice and our students help make a difference to the l ives of children
less fortunate than themselves. Over 5000 pupils from schools across the country took
part and the organisation is supported by the l ikes of Sir Elton John, Piers Morgan and
Alesha Dixon.
The school choir worked incredibly hard in after-school rehearsals to prepare for the event,
and the day itself was an incredible success. Students even had the opportunity to meet
the stars of the show (HRVY/Roadtrip) which they were thoroughly pleased with. Three of
our students were selected to walk the banner through Wembley Arena, representing
Aldworth’s participation in such a well -supported and high-profi le event. A special mention
to James Wood (Year 7), Talitha Forster (Year 7), Savannah Wilson (Year 7) Hayleigh
Pogmore (Year 10) and Chloe O’Donnell (Year 10) who gave up their own time to design
our banner!
It was an absolute honour to be part of such a wonderful experience, and I would l ike to
thank all the students that took part. Each student represented the school impeccably and
we look forward to many more excit ing activit ies and opportunit ies in the near future!

Team Up Team Up is a unique moment in t ime for women’s sport. Between 2017 and 2019 England
wil l be host to three consecutive women’s World Cups:
ICC Women's World Cup 2017: England beat India to win the
World Cup!
Vitality Hockey Women's World Cup: 21 July - 5 August 2018
Netball World Cup: 12 July - 21 July 2019
The England and Wales Cricket Boards (ECB), England Hockey and England Netball have
launched Team Up, a three year campaign to maximise the legacy of the World Cups and
build a broader fan base for women's team sports.
Honey, the Team Up bear, is taken to each netball match and is presented to the winning
team. Both our Year 10 and 7 netball teams have been successful in bringing Honey home
with them and have enjoyed taking part in the Team Up challenge as part of the
Basingstoke School Netball League.
Miss Lester
Year 7 Netball Our newly formed Year 7 netball team has been highly successful in their f irst season of
representing Aldworth School. The team have trained tirelessly and show true commitment
to their own development and the development as a team. They have been under the
instruction of our Year 9 team who have been developing their leadership skil ls.
The team took on some fierce competit ion and made their way into the semi-f inal of the
Basingstoke Schools Netball League. After playing their socks off the gir ls were crowned
4t h overall in the league.
Miss Lester and Miss Wijeratne
Year 9 Netball The Year 9 netball team have continued to show outstanding dedication to their sport and
their team. The have worked hard to develop their skil ls and abil ity to work as a team
developing set dri l ls and learning new more technical skil ls, despite this dedication they
just missed out on a spot in the semi-f inals. The Year 9 students biggest success this
season has been the development of their coaching and umpiring skil ls through coaching

and managing the Year 7 team. The Year 9 team showed their dedication to the
development to the Year 7 team through designing specif ic training sessions based on
weaknesses seen within matches, attending each game and taking it in turn to umpire and
officiate their matches. Al l this hard work paid off and they managed to coach the Year 7

Year 10 Netball The Year 10 netball team are a very close nit technical team, who thanks to their
commitment and dedication to bettering their individual technical ski l ls and the technical
play of the team were able to go out and win al l but one of their games which they drew.
The team’s abil ity to communicate with each other and read and react to situations in the
game has been a huge credit to them and highly commented on by other schools within the
town. The gir ls should be extremely proud of their performances and development this
season.

Year 7 Cricket The Year 7 team have shown an excellent att itude and commitment to training this term
which culminated in their f irst game on Tuesday 13 March in which they were narrowly
defeated, requiring 4 off the last ball, overall they lost by 2 runs. Owen Slynn's
performance was outstanding with the bat, ball and he took an excellent catch. He was
given Man of the Match.
Year 7's next game was on Wednesday 21 March against Costello. We hope to improve
even further in this f ixture, and I wil l report further next t ime.
The boys have been a credit to the school al l term and I am very pleased to be their coach.

All Years Basketball Attendance to basketball remains high, despite
the continuing lack of games available due to the
perceived lack of basketball teams in the
Basingstoke area. I am now attempting to
arrange some fixtures further afield as it would
be a just reward for the ongoing commitment the
boys have shown.
They are a credit to the PE department and I look
forward to working with them in the future.

Year 9 Football Mr Butcher and I have been taking the teams recent f ixtures. The boys played against
Brighton Hil l with 10 men and put in a truly outstanding performance to comeback from 2-
0 down to draw 2-2 in the snow. This put them into the Basingstoke Schools semi-final
which went r ight down to the wire, eventually winning 4-2 on penalt ies with a couple of
excellent saves from our goalkeeper Alex White.
We played The Vyne School in the f inal on Thursday 22 March which the boys were very
excited for. Unfortunately Aldworth lost the final 4-0 but played extremely well .
