Dear users,

Thank you for purchasing our products.

This software is a professional and integrated alarm receiving platform system which adopts SMS

&voice transmission of GSM & telephone network to receive alarm information. It is practically

used on the alarm center where the police are on duty.

There are lots of functions of this alarm system including receiving alarm information, building

user database, receiving SMS and voice, printing alarm details in time etc,. However, this software

neednt professional operation knowledge and professional operator. Its interface is intuitive and

friendly, So it is easy to learn and use.

1. System Requirement

1.1 Operating systemwindows 2000windows XPwindows2003 or above

Installation

2.1 Install IIS

Installation package content as below:

Quick installation

Runautorun.exe, Pop-up the window as below

Note: If you already have IIS server, please do not re-install, otherwise it will lead to the existing site can not run properly.

Check whether the IIS is installed.

Go -Control Panel>> Administrative Tools, check whether there is "Internet information service", and if so, that has IIS installed, please skip directly to the content 2), install the alarm center", if not, please click on "1. Install IIS"

After installation completed, the web site will automatically open when you close the installation window.

Insert the SIM card:

USB to the computer

Turn on GSM module, if the green LED flash which between two red LED, it means OK, if not, please check the SIM card and the antenna install properly.

Click "My Computer" "" Properties "" Hardware "" Device Manager "," port (COM and LPT), to view the module's port number, different ports have different port number. Such as: Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM9).

Softdog

Connecting the computer, click "My Computer" "" Properties "" Hardware "" Device Manager "," Universal Serial Transfer controller, if it display "SoftDog USB Device" that means working properly, if not, pls check whether push out or the driver is installed.

3.1 Create/Edit communication protocol

(1) Login website

Enter in the browser "http://localhost/alarmsystem"

Default administrator account: admin , passwore: admin

Note:

URL format: http:// server IP address / virtual directory

Virtual directory: "that means virtual directory in the "alarm center setup" .

For example: the server's IP: 192.168.1.223

Virtual directory: alarmsystem

1. If this PC is the server.

Enter for browse "http://localhost/alarmsystem" or "http://192.168.1.223/alarmsystem"

If the server in the LAN.

Enter for browse: http//192.168.1.223/alarmsystem

Add GSM communication protocol

Into the "System Setup" page, click on "GSM Alarm Receiver Setup", click "Add" will jump to the "Communication config add" page, set it according to your need, the default configuration for the speed is 9600, data bits: 8; Parity Check: none; Stop bit: 1. Phone number is SIM card uumber in the GSM Alarm Receiver.

For example: The port in device manager before is Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM9)

After selection, press confirm to complete the operation.

Go to "Open Alam System" page, click "Alam System is Closed, Whether Open it or not".

After successful operation, Alarm system will start automatically in10 seconds. Following picture shows the startup interface

Note: "edit" can only appear when there is a communications protocol, the contents of the serial port name is the serial port which added before. If you need more ports, click on "Add" in the section of "communication parameter configuration item"

Please remove the useless serial port, or it may lead to failure of the remote control. If you can not start the alarm receiver, please check the softdog is inserted, while GSM Alarm Receiver Alarm cat is connected

3.2 Change Client(Host) distribution map

Enter System Setup page, click Client Detail, click Change Client(host) distribution

Note: Picture will be activate after restart the software.

3.3 Create client(host) information (Page: Client database)

Into the "Customer Database" page, click "New" will display the contents under the plan, select "Host Type", enter "user name", "phone number" and the machine address, click "confirm" to complete the operation. Example: user host ABC model G11 phone number is 13800138000 within the host, the machine address of the AAA

Note: If the host type is null, please add the "host type" page: System Setup>> Host Setting For detail please refer to "4.7.4 Create and change the Host Type/ Control Command."

For more practical system, please fill out optional items.

3.4 Configure the host and the detector

In the "Client Database" page, click on "Client Settings" will jump to "client settings" page

Change the alarm location

Click "change Position of Hosts" will jump to "coordinate choice" page, the default location in the upper left corne.

Click the place where you are or drag the icon to your location.

Note: Blue hawk for disarm, Yellow hawk for arm, Red hawk for alarm.

Change the detector location

Operation please refer to 1) Change the alarm location or click the "edit" to input Coordinates.

Note: the icon now is red.

3.5 Software centre alarm test

It will sound and the red triangle will appear on the page when the preset alarm number called GSM Alarm Receiver.

Note: If the above screen doesn't appear, please check the softdog is plugged in, GSM Alarm Receiver is configured and whether the number already in "customer database."

Click "Remove Alarm" for disarm. Click "Remark" for the history.

Alarm handle:

Fast track: Fast handle multiple alarms.

Alarm Records: Handle each alarm directly.

Click alarm icon on the map: Jump to client detailed information and handle single alarm.

Note: on the page of "Client Data Base," click "detail" and it will display "client today alarm information"

Features navigation

System is based on permissions to restrict the operation, only the user with relevant permissions can perform the relevant operations, such as: Administrators have the "edit" permission. No "edit" permission's user only can view the content.

Function of the Software

4.1 Login

Administrator login

The Administrator who have different permissions can perform different operations, for example: User does not have the "edit" permission can not modify the relative information.

Client login

Client can only view the their personal alarm records, log regards and personal information; Also can remote control the system set Remote control function can be set off by system setting

Note: Default Account: User Name; Password: 123456.

3. No need password to login. This need to be set by administrator, setting as below:

In "System Setup" page, click "Edit" will go to below figure:

Click "True" will see "Verification"

Tick the "Verification", "True" will become "false" , then click "Confirm."

Note: No-password-login client, do not have the "host-password modification " permissions

4.2 Alarm center

Click in the client (host) icon on the map, you can view the client (host) information, print, remote control and send Email.

Click "Show Mini Navigate Map" which is at the top left corner, then mini map will be shown, you can jump fast by click the "mini map" to the corresponding position. When alarm, the "mini map" will appear red dot.

Click at the bottom of the page, to check today's alarm record

Note: 1. Client (host): a large map of the inside of the Blue Hawk [disarm] \ Yellow Hawk [arm] \ Red Hawk [alarm]). * Only user with the disarm's permission can remove the alarm.

4.3 Remote Control and Group Remote Control

This function has two ways to remote or control the host, such as arm\ disarm\ quick arm\ partial arm:

In "Remote control" page, choose "phone number," click "Verification," if this phone number correct, there will appear some corresponds notes below the "comfirm" button. If the Verification pass, then the user's detector will be auto-loaded.ukuk

In "Alarm center" page, you can click the host you want to control on the map.

Then you will see this map as below:

Click "Remote Control" will jump to "Remote Control" page and fill in phone number, auto-load "option" and the "arm zone". As the picture below:

In "Remote Control More" page, you can send message by group.

4.4 Alarm Record

You can click the "detail" for further information

4.5 Logs

Log records can view by clicking "details," or click "Search" and then choose a period, like the figure below:

4.6 client information

Add the new user: Click the button Add, follow the prompt fill all the information.

Edit the users information: click the button Edit, follow the prompt modify the information.

Delete the users information: click the button Delete, then there will be a the dialog box, please click the OK.

Client Setting: Click Client Setting, there will skip to the setting page. It can check\add\alter\delete the detector information, modify the clients position (Host) on the large map (Host distribution) and the position on the mini map (Detector distribution). Pictures as follow:

The initial password is: 1234

If the Host is G60, the password can be changed into 123456.

Change the customers backgrounds, login in the alarm center page and find the Alarm details, you can select the JPG/BMP/GIF/PNG format of the pictures to replace the old one.

*Change the host password: This change used for the password of remote control host. And only the super administrator and make the change.

Note: If the host password from the website is different with the password on the host which be matched, it can not remote control the host.

Click the "Change the alarm position" or "change the detector position", it will change to the "position change page", like the picture below:

Change the alarm or detector position: Drag the icon to the place you want, then loose the left mouse button, there will be a dialogue box jump out, if you click "YES," the position will update, or you can relocation.

Note:

1. Change the alarm position: The icon is the blue hawkyellow hawk or red hawk.

2. Change the detector position: The icon is a red hawk.

System configuration

4.7.1 Operate Setup

Check Password Of LoginCheck that whether need to input the ID and password when logon in the system

Check Password Of OperateCheck that whether need to input the password when increase or modify the information.

Check Password Of Alarm DisarmCheck that whether need to input the password for disarm the host.

Opening up the remote controlCheck that whether the user can use the remote control when login in.

Sound optionsAllAll of the emergency will have the sound reminder; "Only alarm": There will have the sound reminder only when the SMS contains "Alarm".

2.GSM Alarm Receiver Setup: Remember to add the corresponding port after the user added the GSM alarm module. Default parameters are: [Speed]9600[Data Bits]8[Parity Check]None[Stop Bit]1.

3.Client Distribution Background Picture: Please alter the corresponding coordinate of the alarm after the change of the background of the customer distribution.

10.Remote Control Group frequencyThe default frequency of mass-message under the control is 10 seconds. Two or more than two sets can turn down the count seconds, if the count seconds is too low there will be unsuccessful transmit of SMS.

4.7.2 Add the Communication Config

The communication protocol can help to realize the communication between the voice card and GSM. Login in the page of "System Setup", click the column of "GSM Alarm Reciever Setup", click "add" will skip to the page of "Communication Config Add", please kindly choose the option according to your case, default setting is [Speed]9600[Data Bits]8[Parity Check]None[Stop Bit]1. After the choose, please click the "Confirm" to finish this operation.

1. Modify the GSM Communication Config

Login in the page of "System Setup", click the column of "GSM Alarm Receiver Setup", there will skip to the page of "Communication Config Edit" when click the "Edit", choose the port which will be changed in the "Name", then select the parameters which need to be changed, press "Confirm" to finish the operation.

Note: There will have the "Edit" function only when the communication protocol is exist, the content of the port is the one already added. If need add more ports, please find the "Add" inside of "GSM Alarm Receiver Setup". Please delete the none used ports, or else there will be failure if use the remote control.

4.7.3 Administrator

This system will be distinguished the authorize by administrator--

1. Can modify self and other administrator's authorize only when the "Edit permission" is authorized;

2. Can add the information only when the "Add" is authorized;

3. Can delete the information only when the "Delete" is authorized;

4. Can edit the information only when the "Edit" is authorized;

5. Can add the remote control commands only when the "Add Control Commands" is authorized;

6. Can remote control the alarm host only when the "Remote control" is authorized;

7. Can disarm the host only when the "Disarm" is authorized;

8. Can do the backup of the database only when the "Database backup" is authorized.

Note: Can modify self information and other administrator's right only when the "Edit permission" is authorized.;

4.7.4 Create and change the Host Type/ Control Command

1. Add the Host Type

Enter the System Setup then click the "Host Setting", add the host name and the host type then click confirm.

NoteIf your host is T-5C or PH-T-2 series, please set the host type as "Only Call Telephone Network Data Card," other host is as "default."

2. Add the Control Command

Enter the System Setup page then click the "Host Setting," chose the Host name add the type name and the control coding, press confirm for confirmation.

Note: The type name is the name of command, can be changed by the user.

Control command is used for remote controlling and programming the alarm host, please add the coding according to the user manual from different host model.

If the setting can not follow the command of the alarm host, the function of remote control can not realize.

J) FAQ

Question 1: Website usage procedures?

New Client (Host) Register -- Entering Client (Host) detail, Delete / Change Host and Detector's position -- complete.

[Remark]The default position of host and detector is (1, 1)

Question 2: How to add a new Client (Host)?

Situated: Client (Host) information --New -- Complete.

[Remark]After add new client (Host), remember to change the position of host and detector.

Question 3: How to change the location of hosts and detectors?

Situated: Client (Host) -- Details --

1.Change the position of host: Click Change the position of Client(Host) -- icon is Blue Hawk, Yellow Hawk, Red Hawk -- Using Mouse click icon, don't release left button, dragging the icon to the position where you want, release left button, It will pop up a confirm window click "Yes" to update, otherwise you can continue dragging.

2.Change the position of detector: Click" Change the position of Detector" -- icon is Red Hawk -- Using Mouse click icon, don't release left button, dragging the icon to the position where you want, release left button, It will pop up a confirm window click "Yes" to update, otherwise you can continue dragging.

[Remark]Default coordinate (1, 1)

Question 4: Why some administrators can add/edit/delete messages, but I can't?

This system is distinguished by administrator permission

1. Have "Edit Permission" permission can edit yourself and other administrators' permission;

2. Have "Add" permission can add information;

3. Have "Delete" permission can delete information;

4. Have "Edit" Permission can edit information;

5. Have "Add commands" permission can add remotely control commands;

6. Have "Remote control" permission can remotely control host;

7. Have "Disarm" permission can cancel warning sound;

8. Have "Database Backup and Restore" permission can backup and restore the database;

[Remark]: Only have "Edit Permission" permission can edit yourself and other administrators' permission;

Question 5: Why some icon in "Alarm Center" turn to red and issue warning sound? How to cancel it?

When the Telephone Network Data Card receive the alarm information, As long as Click the red icon (Alarm) in the "Alarm center". The warning sound will automatically vanish, at the same time the icon turn to blue (disarm), As long as Click the red icon(alarm) in the "Alarm center".

[Remark]: Only have "Disarm" permission can cancel the warning sound.

Question 6: How to increase the IIS connections?

Internet Information Services (IIS) is limited in the number of instantaneous connections that can be made to the system. This means we cannot have more users connected to the system at the same time. . Solution: Manufacturer to consult with system developers on how to enable multiple access on IIS

Microsoft provides a management tool for IIS, the latest version is 2.2. MetaEdit work in Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, it can also work in Windows XP, Moreover, MetaEdit can only manage II4.0, IIS5.0 or higher version of IIS. Download address: http://download.microsoft.com/download/iis50/Utility/5.0/NT45/EN-US/MtaEdt22.exe

After installing MetaEdit, in the Start menu under Administrative Tools program group, click and run "MetaEdit 2.2," when there's a window, expand the directory tree on the left of the window to the LM W3SVC, select the MaxConnections which under the Name list on the right items, double-click, the dialog box will appears, the Data text box default is 10, this key can be freely modified, no special restrictions, -1 for no limit

Then navigate to the LM W3SVC 1, select MaxConnections in the Name list, this is the "Default Web Site" connections in IIS, and then double-click and modify the value in Date, but here the key maximum is 40, more is useless. (Note: The maximum client connection IIS on Win 2000 is 2,000,000,000.) If you have multiple sites, you can modify in turn.

) Under windows9X/Me/NT/2000 Operating system

The old version driver user need reinstall soft dog kid V3.1 driver. The driver will

automatically check the operating system, whether it is the updated vision of soft dog driver.

Note: If user use the USB soft dog, before the driver installed, do not plug in the USB soft

dog. Otherwise cause the error when install the driver.

2) Install UDA soft dog driver under windows XP/Server2003

1. At first run the USB-soft Dog-driver the installation package

2. Plug in USB soft dog to the USB port on computer, The system automatically install the

updated driver due to the USB soft dog driver already have got the certification.

3)Uninstall Driver

Browse the soft dog Kit directory, Find and Run:\Driver\softdogInstdrv.exe. when Pop up window,

select Uninstall

2.5 Install Voice Card Driver

The operation need specific driver installation procedure;

1.Copy Driver\BfVoice

2.Copy file Driver\BfVoive8.sys to windows directory: system32\Drivers cover the old files.

3.Copy Driver\BfVoice.dll

4.Copy file Driver\BfVoive8.sys to windows directory : system32\Drivers cover the old files.

5.Restart computer.

NotePlease note that there are not any copy of BfVoice8.sys&BfVoice in the Windows

directory.

3. Operations for Software Centre

If this is your first time use the Software, please do as this:

3.1 System Running

Open Internet Explorer web browser or other web browser (IE6 or above),

URL: http:// server IP address / virtual directory site alias

Virtual directory: "Alarm Center Setup" in the virtual directorysite Virtual alias

Directory: The directory name in alarm center installation

E.g. IP 192.168.1.223

3.2 Add/Edit Administrator Information

Change the administrator password:After you login your account, please change your password.

E.g: Enter into Administrator Information page, Click Edit then input the new password, click

Confirm. Complete the operation.

3.3 Add/Edit GSM communication protocol and Voice Card

Interval.

1) Add communication protocol

Only having protocolthe software can communicate with Voice Card and GSM Alarm Receiver.

Enter into System Setup page, click Communication Config.-Add-Communication

2) Change GSM communication protocol

Enter into System Setup, click communication config. Click Edit jump to Edit

communication config page, Select the port in the serial port name, then select the parameter,

click confirm complete.

3) Change the Voice Card Interval Time

Voice Card Interval Time: You can choose the best time for receiving one Alarm Message by this

operation.

And the time can be 400ms to 1500ms.You can set up by yourself.

Enter into System Setup , click Voice Card interval -Voice Card Interval -Edit

-Confirm .Then finish.

Default parameter:400ms

Only one card parameter range: 400ms-1500ms

Multi card parameter range:1-300

3.4 Add, Edit Host type and Remotely control command

1) Add Host Type

Enter into Remotely control page, click Add control command - Add command -Add host

type to add type, click confirm to finish.

Note: If the Client(host)s Type is T-5C, T-2A, Please set the alarm Type as Only Call

Telephone Network Data Card,The other host type for default

2)Add remotely control command.

Enter remote control page, Click add control command jump to add Control command page,

click add control command to select host name, type and input control command. Click confirm

complete.

Note: Type is the command name.

Remotely control commands is the remotely control code, Please add is follow the manual.

If enter wrong command, the software can't remotely control host.

3.5 Change Client(Host) distribution map.

Enter System Setup page, click Client Detail, click Change Client(host) distribution

3.6 Add Client(host) information

Page

1) Enter Client Database page, click Add can display the picture as below.

Fill the table with related content.

E.g.: The Client(host) is ABC and the Type is G10, The Client(Host) telephone number is

13800138000.

NoteIf the client(host) type is nullplease add Client (host) TypeFollow the instruction.

2) Change Client (host) and detectors position

Enter Client Database age, click Detail jump to Client details page.

Click Chang the position of Client (host) jump to coordinate select page, the default

coordinate is (0,0)

Method 1

Move the mouse to position what you want, and press left button of mouse, pop up a window,

click Confirm complete operation. Click Cancel to return.

Method 2

Using Mouse click icon, don't release left button ,dragging the icon to the position where you want,

release left button, It will pop up a confirm window, click "Yes" to update, otherwise you can

continue dragging.

Note:The Blue hawk [Arm] Yellow hawk [Disarm] Red hawk [Alarm]

3.Change the position of detector

It is the same operation of the change client (host)s position.

If you dont want to change detectors position via using mouse, you can input the coordinates at

the end of detectors icon.

Note: Selected icon is Red Hawk

4. Function of the Software

This system distinguish administrators permission. E.g.: some administrators only have "Edit"

4.1 login

1.Administrator login;

After login the system, with different permission administrator can execute

corresponding operation.

E.g.:

Login system without username and password, the administrator need set the system config. As

below:

Enter System Config, in System Config Content click Edit jump to the window as below.

Click text box, As below.

Select Verification, then click Confirm

Note: if login system without password, the administrator cant change the client (host)

password.

4.2Alarm center

1. Click the client(host) icon in the map, can query client(host) details, print information, remotely

control and send E-mail, also can remotely control Client (Host).

2. Click Show navigation map on the left in the page, can show mini map, click on Mini map

jump to corresponding position in big map. When alarm is trigged, there is a red point in the

mini map.

3. Click show no alarm records can show the no daily alarm records. And set Alarm

inspection to Automatic alarm inspection.

4.3 Remotely control

Can use this function to remotely control client(Host).Such as:Arm/disarm/quickarm/partial

arm/partial disarm.

1. On Remotely control page, Select Phone Number, then input phone number click Check,

after verify telephone number, It will appear information. If pass the verification, The option of

setting and guarding zones will automatically load.

E.g.: Remotely control Host(8613760156915) guarding zone 1 arm, select Arm in option, select

Guarding zone 1 click confirm to complete.

On Alarm center page, select the Client (host) what you want to remotely control.

Click Client (host) icon on Alarm Center page.

After input phone number, click Confirm Send control SMS.

number, loading "option" and "Guarding zones". As below:

4.1)Change Host password

Change Client (host) password:

Note: Changing the Remotely control host password, only available for super administrator.

If the Client( host) password is not accordance with the remote host, then the host can not be

controlled remotely.

Click Change position of client (host), jump to Details

1.Using Mouse click icon, don't release left button, dragging the icon to the position where you

want, release left button, It will pop up a confirm window click "Yes" update, otherwise you can

continue dragging.

Note:

1. Changing the position of Client (host): icon is Blue hawk, Yellow hawk, Red hawk.

2. Changing the position of Detector: icon is Red hawk.

This system distinguish administrators permission:

1.Have Edit Permission permission can edit yourself and other administrators permission.

2.Have Add permission can add information.

3.Have Delete permission can delete information.

4.Have Edit permission can edit information.

5.Have Add Commands permission can add remotely control commands.

6.Have Remotely Control permission can remotely control Client (Host).

7.Have Disarm permission can cancel warning sound.

8.Have Database Backup & Restore permission can backup and restore the database.

6. System Setup

1.System config ( verification):

System password verification: whether login system need password or not.

Edit information verification: Whether Edit information need password or not.

2. Voice card setting:

After add new Data Card, remember to add corresponding port. default setting: Speed:9600, Data

bit:8, Parity: None stop bit:1.

3. Client(Host) distribution background:

After change the client(host)background picture, please change the corresponding host coordinate.

Note: Client(Host) distribution background picture is "Alarm center" map.

Faq1. Website usage?

1.Register new client(host)---enter into client (host) details, add\delete\change host and detectors

position---complete.

Note: The default coordinates is (1,1)

1Click Client information -- Add -- Complete.

Note: After adding client information, please remember to change the client (host) and

detectors coordinates.

Faq 3: How to change the coordinate of client (host) and detector?

Faqs 5: There is individual icon turn to red (alarm) and what I can do?

When the Voice Card receive the alarm information, As long as click the red icon(Alarm) on the

"Alarm center" page. The warning sound will automatically vanish, at the same time the icon turn

to blue(disarm)

Note: Only having "Disarm" permission can cancel the warning

After clicking "1. Install IIS" will installed automatically. If no prompt error, then no problem to install alarm center

"2. Install Alarm Center" screen, click "Next"

Note: virtual directory is AlarmSystem, can be modified. The default website url: HYPERLINK "http://localhost/AlarmSystem" http://localhost/AlarmSystem

Client Setting: you can check\add\alter\delete the detector information, modify the clients position (Host) on the large map (Host distribution) and the position on the mini map (Detector distribution).
