Bible classes are located in the Education Center. To find the gate to check in and pick up your child, please go through those doors and follow the signs.Bible Class: 9 am to 9:50 amPower Hour: A time of Worship for children 3-years-old through Kindergarten. Children are dismissed before the sermon each week and picked up after Worship.Rock Solid Worship: A time of Worship for Elementary students. Offered once each month during the school year.Supervised nursery and toddler programs begin at 9 am and end after worship.
Power HourWe’re taking a short break for the summer. Power Hour will resume on Sunday, August 20th.

Financial Peace UniversityA 9-week F inancia l Peace University class led by Kelsey Breedlove (a l icensed CPA) will begin Wednesday, August 30th (6:30–8 pm). Childcare is provided. The cost of the FPU materials is $99.98. Sign up in Bible class on Sunday mornings or at the Ministry Center in the lobby.

The JourneyJoin us in the parlor on Sunday mornings (9 am) for a class that explores what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. This class is offered all year, and you can join the class at any time. Books for the class are $5. Whether you are new & searching or have been a Christian for years, this class is for anyone who wants to take the next step in their journey with Christ.

Bring long socks, swimming clothes (dark t-shirt & shorts to wear over suit), and a sack lunch. Sign up using the form in the youth section of our website.
InklingsJuLy 13th @ 9:30 amA book club for our high school students. This summer we’re reading “The Irresistible Revolution” by Shane Claiborne. Books are $5. We’ll meet every other Thursday in June & July at Gray Owl Coffee.

NEW! Back to School RoundupThe annual Streams of Water Ministry Back to School Roundup and Information Fair is Saturday, August 5th (9 am-12 pm) at our building. This year we will again offer FREE backpacks of supplies, knitted items (hats, scarves, gloves) and haircuts (as time permits). The information fair will include a number of community organizations, resources, and entertainment. Lunch is provided. We need about 70 volunteers for this event. Sign up in Bible class or at the Ministry Center. If you would like to donate school supplies please place them in the barrels in the lobby. For more information or if you would like to contribute financially, contact John Helton ([email protected] or 659-5864) or the church office.Items needed: Classic Markers, Colored pencils, Construction Paper, Crayons (24 count), Elmer’s School Glue, Glue Sticks, Ink Pens (Black, Blue & Red), Kleenex, Pencils, Rulers, Scissors, Small plastic supply box, Two-Pocket Portfolio (folders), Water Coloring, Wide-lined notebook paper (150 count), Wide-lined Spiral notebook (70 pages)
A Helping HandThe purpose of “A Helping Hand” is to connect people who have a need with those who can fulfill that need. Check out the board in the cafe area if you have a need (you need a dryer, a bed, a lawn mowed, etc.) or if you have something to donate (a couch, baby clothes, or a service to offer—mow a lawn, change the oil in a car, etc.). Fill out the appropriate card and pin it to the board. Current needs: Full size bed (box springs & mattress) and a couple interested in mentoring a young couple in life skills. Check out the board in the cafe for more information. POC: Randy Hendrix.
